    that her voice sort of strangles out at points as you point actually makes it sound more emotional and real to me. I don't know if she meant to do it or not, and you might see it as a technical mistake, however I think it adds to the weariness and ennui.

    Thank you Aleksandra :) I love how you focus on connecting with the story / emotion rather than just technical perfection. I’d personally be interested in seeing you analyse Hayley Williams (Paramore’s live performance of Last Hope in particular) and Halsey (e.g. her live lounge performance of Nightmare)

      Hi Jasmin, thanks for your input. I feel very strongly about being emotionally true and connecting with the story FIRST. A good technique can enable us just that though! Thanks for your suggestions, I've never seen or listened to the songs you mentioned, so will be interested to give it a go

    Love your reaction. Billie also does "All the good girls go to hell" same session from the Howard Stern show. She does It different from the studio version and it's fantastic!
