I did buy this Snake Eyes at Walmart. It was a pleasant surprise to find this figure there. When I first saw the figure online I didn't want it. BUT, BUT, BUT!!!! It grew on me. Now I love it because it is a fusion of Ninja and Commando Snake Eyes.
You seem like such a genuinely great guy. Relatively same age, musical taste, love for toys, family man. Just sayin', keep doin' what you do. You're a bright spot in a lot of our days man.
See8ng the Alley Vipe grappling hook get reused is great. A feature I had both a love hate with as a kid. The imagination of using it with the AV scaling a wall but the frustration it didn't actually come off. With the classified line I can dangle my alley Vipers with childlike glee
I always preferred the silver visor for ninja snake eyes rather than the all black. So I got this figure and kit bashed it with the original one, to have him in all black but with a hint of color from the gray of the new one and the red of the old one with the silver visor.
I like this packaging a lot more than the Marvel Legends too. Beautiful art on the front and good pictures of the figures on back. I already have two of the original set so there's no way I'm getting this, although I do like it. Like this look for Snake Eyes. The brown works for me. I'm not a hardcore Joe or Snake Eyes fan though. Timber in white is pretty cool too. Definitely agree about releasing this so soon. Just kind of reeks of desperation with getting the most out of the molds.
I completely agree. One Snake Eyes a year. It worked in the 80s, it will work now. Which reminds me. I surely do hope they learned their lesson on what not to do from the 1991-1994 line. We getting dinosaurs? We getting aliens? We making everyone a Ninja? haha I hope not. Oh, but it would be fun to get that drug dealer with a three piece suit 😂 What was his name? Headmen or something haha. Brings me back to the interrupted classroom moments of "Take a bite out of crime!" 😉
I got this set as well as the others. At first I had ulterior motives for getting this set, but to be honest I grew to really like the design. He's like wilderness mission Snake Eyes. :) As for my original motive, I was looking to kit bash the perfect retro colored 1984 Ninja Snake Eyes. I don't know if Hasbro did this on purpose or not. But, they include little bits of the 1984 Snake Eyes color scheme in all the Snake Eyes releases and in Zartan Master of Disguise version with his Snake Eyes head. So, for me, to make the perfect version, you need the backpack and arm bands from the standard Classified release. You need the base body from the Fortnight Snake Eyea release. You need the head from Zartan's deluxe release. Then you need the White Timber Wolf, the Grey belt and Grey bandolier. Altogether they make a perfect 1984 version of Snake Eyes. I know, why Zartan's Snake Eyes head? It's the only head with a Grey visor, like the original. all the others are either silver or black.
The smart play would have been to re-do the wolf head and add him to a cobra infantry figure make a few slight changes and turned this into a cobra guard with dog.

I think its great for your ninja snake eyes better then the first wave release and comparable to the 00 pulse exclusive. Gotta have both if you missed out on that pulse exclusive that started the line.
I think you’re spot on. I already have the Ninja Snake Eyes and the first (for me preferable) version of Commando Snake Eyes and Timber so for me this is a pass. Overall, however, I gotta say I am very happy with a lot of what Hasbro is coming out with in the GI Joe Classified line.
I've skipped all of the previous versions of Snake Eyes and this newest version is on its way to me this week. I'm looking forward to finally having him and Timber on the shelf.
Just got this for 30$ during the Hasbro Warehouse sale and it’s a fun figure with all he comes with. He reminds me of the Snake Eyes that came with the Red Ninja 5 pack from back in 2008 in the modern 3.75 inch line. I say he’s worth if with the discount.

I got it the other day and i must say, im not a fan at all of the closed packaging. i also have the first version so im just sending this one back. i actually like this version of Snake Eyes better, but i don't need 2 similar and for the price i can get something else.
The first one is better would have been even better if the snake eyes in dark navy blue and colored visor would come out like the one where he first meats timber..

I was very close to pulling the trigger on this guy today but he’s nearly $70 Canadian and I’ve got a bid going on a new Gibson, so, I refrained. It’s tough to be a Man-Child.
I just got this dude today, my first G.I. Joe figure. Branching out from Turtles and AEW/WWE to see what else I like and this just looks like a really fun 2 pack. He's got so many weapons, the wolf figure looks bad ass (even if I suck at posing them) and if I have any complaint.. Snake feels a bit small? I'm not sure if this is the standard size but I wish it was just a fraction larger in scale. But it's not a deal breaker. I just have to be creative with posing to compensate for his stature. Really sweet figure, definitely excited for the confidential line coming out in September.
So I actually like this version a lot more. Plus I’ve been needing a replacement snake eyes since my wave 1 snake eyes has some super loose joints. I actually like the mix of ninja and more Commando in the legs. I also grew up with the white timber figure so I’m glad this one popped up right around the time I was considering getting a second regular snake eyes lol

I never got around to getting the Hasbro Pulse exclusive SE, my wave 1 SE is a floppy goose… Commando Snake. she’s is cool BUT that was never my favorite look and Timber being white instead of gray was always my preferred look for him. I feel like this may be that HP Exclusive Snake Eyes which is a look I really enjoyed. I feel like if you don’t have a SE yet or need to replace your wave 1 version… This is the one to get. I also figure Snake Eyes is like Prime in Transformers waves. Always gotta have Prime, always gotta have a Snake Eyes, probably easier to do Snake Eyes tho haha.
You're review is pretty much on point with the figure set. It's a great looking ninja Snake Eyes and very detailed Timber that resembles closer to the original 3.75 in white version. This was still a pass for me because I already own the wave 01 Snake Eyes and the Alpha Commando Snake Eyes & Timber set so I can combine their accessories for more playtime value alone. I just prefer my Snake Eyes to be in all-black including the visor because it makes him a little special compared to the others and also he's supposed to be a stealth soldier that hides in the shadows. Still a great addition for vintage fans and new fans getting into the classified series.
do you know if the ab crunch on this one is loose ? i dont know if u remember the original Classified 02 Snake Eyes had the loosey goosey ab crunch, but it makes it hard to keep anything other than a crouched over pose if they fixed that 1 QC issue, then i'll definitely buy it, but i can't find any reviews that specifically mention it

This guy is already available in Amazon México. For about 75 usd. And for the looks of it it's not selling that well or selling at all. Last year i bought the other snake eyes and timber 2 pack right when it came out for 62 dlls and now they're selling for 25 dlls a pop. So i guess im gonna let this one pass at least for the time being. Great review btw!
They should not number these since these are really variants. I don't mind them releasing this since there are people who couldn't get their hands on previous versions without extreme mark up. But I do prefer the commando and grey Timber as well. Let's see what deviations they make on the next release.
His legs look really skinny, maybe it's the camera, I get mine today, I almost cancelled it several times cause I really don't need another Snake Eyes, especially a mash up
I feel fulfilled with the other hasbro lines especially for the price but I have been non stop watching your classified reviews I think this and the alley viper are going to be my first two purchases
yeah, this is pretty much all reuse, the figure is just a repaint of the first release snake eyes, the 3 rifles were from the alley viper, and the pistol and uzi were released with the original backer snake eyes as well as commando snake eyes.

The windowless packing seems to be a lot better on the GI Joe figures then other Hasbro lines.
