When you place finger on main lens, then phone assumes that its a low light condition and will automatically shift it to main lens from telephoto lens while zooming because in low light telephoto lens performs poor and photos from main camera will be better. It happens same with Samsung Galaxy S22+ also.
Hmm but ye video me bhi telephoto par switch nahi karta aur bahut se condition me software thoda confuse rahta hai kab main ko as a 2x yse karna hai aur kab telephoto ko
And i know low light me better sensor ki wajah se main ko hi digital zoom kiya jaata hai software se taaki better result aaye
@@GyanTherapy Haan sir, actually maine same cheez notice krri thi S22+ mein, jab mai video record kr rha tha..ki aap jab 3x pe video record karenge and then telephoto lens pe haath rakh denge..tou it will shift to main lens..phir aap jab main lens pe haath rakenge toh it will not shift anywhere..but then agar theek light hai tou wapas telephoto pe shift ho jayega..tou probably sab mein same hi hota hai..
Maybe OnePlus thoda refinement kam ho isko lekr..

Update : most of the software issues he mentioned are fixed as of now including optimisation for 120hz and small issues like exiting drawer with the swipe and swiping over widgets as mentioned in the video 👍✌️

8:00 In normal photos, the telephoto lens is only used based on the current lighting situations, the same thing happens on Samsung S20FE also. The phone camera algorithm chooses which lens to use even if you zoom in to the level of the telephoto lens.

Rakeshbhai..... salute to you sir, you have clearly mentioned the glitches/issues with UI which I have also faced while checking the demo of OnePlus 11 and both demo phones have same UI glitch. And this is the reason I have purchased Galaxy 23 Ultra.
Non of the TH-camr is mentioning UI glitches which are there in OnePlus 11, they just keep saying "Is OnePlus Back?", but I must say OnePlus is not OnePlus without original Oxeygen OS. Even if its cheaper and with alert slider, its not BACK.
Thanks Rakeshbhai for mentioning this real UI experience as most of the TH-camrs are just saying positive points about it and miss-guiding the audience. Only one TH-camr apart from you have mentioned weird notification bar implementation MKBHD. But Sir you have given real and more idea about the UI.

I was also thinking of going to OnePlus 11 from S21 but then I saw OnePlus 11r which is 20k cheaper and looks the same. There's no premium distinction between this and its cheaper counterpart. Plus the UI like you mentioned is marred with bugs. My friend's brother changed the lockscreen timeout by accident to 2 minutes, now after update the setting has simply vanished from settings app but due to this behavior his phone does pocket dials, app openings etc 'cause the phone doesn't immediately lock. I've held the phone and it doesn't give me any premium phone feeling, I rememer holding 8 pro back in the day and it felt solid. And the color science on videos is worse than a 20k midranger, so washed out and overexposed. They've become another Micromax unfortunately. Just because they bundle a 100 watt charger, doesn't justify overall package they offer for 56k rupees.
Another comment crying over 'old' Oxygen OS. Bruh if they had to return back to their roots, they could've given Stock Android based Oxygen OS 👀

Honestly I think Carl was the sole reason of OnePlus success and everyone liked him because of how he approached problems and came up with solutions while being active with the community and always handled all OnePlus launch events and Oxygen OS.
OnePlus was doomed the day Carl decided to leave....
It was good that he left because even I would have done the same after hearing the plans of merger with Oppo....

I have a OnePlus 8 which almost converted to a oppo realme phone....but recently i did a downgrade at the service centre and now its running on oxygen OS. How it came out of the box...i am not updating the software now...will use this this way until i switch to iOS now.

Using OnePlus 7 since the first day of launch in June 2019 and downgraded it to the Purest Oxygen OS (Oxygen OS 10) it is silly fast and smooth and solved several network issues for me that I encountered on Oxygen OS 12.1......
And now we can se what carl is doing in nothing. He's gonna make amazing mobiles
I've been a OnePlus user since OnePlus 5t, then 7, 7t and now using OnePlus 8 Pro.
After OxygenOS 13 update on my current OnePlus 8 Pro I'm facing green line issue.
Anyway I was not liking the merge between Oppo and OnePlus specifically on the software side, definitely gave me a strong reason to switch brand. Never OnePlus again and will not recommend as well

The 60 hz thing is because BBK doesn't use the standard SurfaceFlinger to handle High refresh rate.
1. It's ltpo 3.0.
2. The telephoto not working when you cover the main sensor is a feature. The telephoto does not work very well in dark environments so it crops in main sensor automatically as that performs much better in dark. If there's enough light it will switch back to telephoto lens. You can confirm it easily by testing with lights on and off.
@Mr. Mathematics yea sure believe what you want instead of researching even a little bit.
1. Go watch the oneplus 11 launch event or even just google what ltpo the 11 has. I have it and it does go down the 1hz. I have tested it. It just depends on screen brightness, at medium brightness it goes down to 10hz and at max brightness it goes down to 1hz.
2. The phone judges how bright the environment is through the main sensor primarily. I had the 7 pro and it behaved in the exact same way. A better test would be to just see with your eyes which lens it is using because when it switches the telephoto the image looks a bit different than if it was just using main sensor zoom.
Don't spread misinformation just because you don't know what you're talking about. Go ask any other oneplus 11 owner. TH-camrs can sometimes be wrong about things, they are human after all.
I have Redmi K20 and it also have telephoto lens. It just does not record video from telephoto, just crops the main lens while zooming. It does not effect where are u recording in low light or bright day.
I may be wrong but I think OnePlus 11 can't shoot videos from its telephoto lens. I think i should have go to OnePlus showroom to confirm it🙂🙂
S20 FE mein toh nhi hota main camera se shoot agar zoom karo toh, vo toh telephoto pe switch ho jata hai
@@abhitsinha8813 The thing about switching lenses depending on light conditions applies only for photo mode. In video it doesn't do that. It's a bit weird to use other lenses to record video but yes it supports recording on all lenses. "The OnePlus 11's main camera can shoot up to 8K @ 24fps while the ultrawide maxes at 4k 60fps. Meanwhile, the 2x telephoto camera maxes out at 1080p @ 30fps."- copied from gsmarena. You have to select the resolution and frame rate that the lens that you want to record from supports otherwise even the option to switch to those lenses in video mode will not appear.
@@Cosplayinghuman the s20fe supports 4k recording on all cameras so it works fine. The telephoto on oneplus 11 only supports 1080p recording so the resolution has to be set to 1080p before starting recording to use telephoto.
Need a detailed comparison with Samsung S23 as after many discounts it's also coming in similar range.
S23 has better camera, battery software and brand name, the only thing this has better is a beautiful curved display.

Oneplus shot itself in the foot by merging with oppo and implementation of color OS in it's phone.If Oneplus still had oxygen OS,then it would a give a tough competition to Samsung and iphone

To agr subject 30cm se pass hua to wo automatically main camera m switch kr jata h. Mere pass 7t pro or mene ye cheej try krke dekhi h. Or ye cheej sirf stock camera k sath hi h gcam ya koi or cam m telephoto use kro to wo auto switch nhi hota. Umeed h ye jankari kaam aaegi. Is trh ki choti choti cheejo ko leke koi side work ya testing k lie jrur yaad krna.

Maine liya aur uv tempered langava aur shayad uv glue power button me chala gaya so 7 days me warranty void hogai aur button stuck hogaya and parts bhi available nahi hai and were saying apko bahar se nahi lagvana chaiye tha oneplus se lagvana tha but unke pass agle month aata tab tak bina tempered ke use karo. just never settle and mera opinion hai ki oneplus se better ap samsung ya apple pe jao at this price range.

Its common sense, agar aap widget ke upar up/down , left/right swipe actions karogey to system ko lagega ki you are trying to function the widget, aur isi liye vo app drawer open nahi ho raha tha. Very true sir...Needed improvement in refresh rate. Very slow and 60hz refresh rate in many apps and heating issue too. When we spend a 60k above for flagship phone then we expect for a totally smooth experience.

Can you check which type of display one plus 11 is using as users are complaining that their oneplus 7t display is far better than oneplus 11, for this you can check the pixel arrangement if it DIAMOND-LIKE PIXEL ARRANGEMENT OR RGB DELTA PIXELS.
Do haptics matter? Because I keep my haptics off and I like it. Many creators criticize few phones for haptics , but I have seen people keeping their haptics off too.🤔

If you want to show live refresh rate of any phone, just enable developer mode and after that enable show refresh rate. So you can show live refresh rate on corner of screem every time

Sir , I found a little issue , and I don't know its specific in my unit or not . The issue is that after using TH-cam for a couple of hours regularly like 30-40 minutes, TH-cam will gitter or something it crash , I found it too many times , only in OnePlus devices as I tested it in 3-4 phones .
