iKONICs are really happy, only the company stans aren't. iKON has been mistreated there. That's not even an exaggeration coz they had to perform at some point with oxygen and eye patches. They slept on the floor during a survival show. Paint on both their shoes and mics were chapped. They kept on promising the fans for several years about solos that never happened and comebacks that were extremely delayed. So the moment they left the company, we got all these in just a few months time. Everything they've promised, it started happening after leaving YG. iKON is so far the only group who's able leave and keep both their name and have the members be in the same company after leaving their former agency. GOT7 kept their name but are in different agencies, BEAST was able to move to another agency together but had to change their name. But nonetheless, just can't help but admire these groups coz you can definitely see that it's not all about fame. They're really sticking together no matter what happens, nobody gets left behind. Sorry bout the long ass comment LOL! But thank you for checking iKON out.
HIGHLIGHT is amazing too and same as iKON, it just hits different when they get to stay together in the same company and continue working together, it just shows how much they wanted to stay as a team and their strong bonds with each together❤
iKON versatility just on another level. They can pull any genre without losing their color. Hope u can check more about iKON. I recommend their performance on Killing Verse, it's really show their discography, their vocal, rap and stage presence. BOBBY and B.I (former member) also have their own Killing Verse performanve alone, please check them all
0:53 yeah some groups left the company after 7 years contract and each member will sign with different company disbanded, but as far as i know only ikon which all the members left together, all the members sign in the same company, and continue their activity actively as a group
We are happy they leave yg,,they are not lock in dungeon anymore,,now they have freedom to do whatever they want,,they finally have a world tour and they booked left and right,,

The company trademarked the name BEAST just before their contracts ended so the group members who were all leaving the company couldn’t use their name anymore, but they went on to create their own company ‘Around Us’ and now promote under a new name ‘HIGHLIGHT’. Another example is GFRIEND, a girl group who were suddenly told by the company they had to disband, 3 members of that group now went on to promote under a new name VIVIZ. So it’s definitely not a given that the company will let them use their original group names if u leave the company, I’m so happy that iKON can continue using their name and promote altogether❤❤❤.
