Kairi's Heart of a Princess is just Kuja's insta kill Ultima. That says something about her actual fighting prowess though, if she can cast basically Ultima, and this is just her first fight, what on earth could she possibly do to one up that in the future?
Kairi had a rough time; her first real fights were against Xemnas, who could take Sora and Riku together in an almost even fight in KH2, and Armored Xehanort with 13 Keyblades. Either the best conditions to show off the results of her training, or the worst.

While I could be incredibly wrong about the specifics of this, and while it's not exactly the same, Sora time-traveled to each guardian's heart, having their hearts host his, thereby making them the guardians of light, because there wasn't an actual criterion to who the guardians of light were, it was originally every Keyblade wielder Yen Sid, Sora, and the gang could reach out to and then it slowly became the Days Trio, the BBS Trio, and Riku. The only exception to this would probably be Axel, and that is where that all goes wack. Xehanort got the x-blade through the 13, and Sora got Kairi back through the 7. Literally almost the entire plot of Re:Mind but I didn't think about it like that.
How come Axel is the only one of them who can form change his keyblade into other weapons. I would've loved to see the ideas with all the other keyblades

The combination attack was a little underwhelming though compared to the Lea-Aqua and Riku-Terra combination attacks
I don’t know why but the Riku and Terra interaction and team attack gave me chills.

Even Ventus and Aqua can, but they haven't done it since BBS
And of course Sora also has form changes
