I didn’t found the exactly place on maps from Monteverde Volcano Lodge, i really like to go there and see that view? Do u have more references for i get there?
Darn! We were there about a month ago and would have loved the root bridge and hollow tree. Planning to be in CR two more months, (maybe more or less depending on how we adjust to new restrictions on returning to Canada) so maybe we’ll head back that way.
Not necessarily unless you like to explore on your own. But there are red taxis in Santa Elena, shuttles to the cloud forest reserves and you can request transportation to the adventure parks. Last time we were there I didn't see any Ubers but there may be some now.
@@gracewang27 Shuttle from santa elena town to Monteverde and Santa Elena cloud forest reserves are around $3 USD per person one way. More info about Monteverde here: mytanfeet.com/costa-rica-travel-tips/monteverde-travel-tips/

Hope you can make it back there! We have learned that unfortunately they did fence off the hollow tree.
Can I ask how far is the walk from the entrance to the ficus tree bridge?
like 3 - 5 min
Do you need a car to navigate around Monteverde, or is walking/public transportation/Ubers good?

@@mytanfeet how walkable is Santa Elena and Monteverde? I’m assuming the taxis and especially the shuttles are expensive.

My computer desktop picture is a photo from the Cerro Plano viewpoint that I took last February.

Great clip thank you
Thank you for your comment!
wow!
We went to the Ficus tree bridge in November and there was there someone collecting a toll for it. It was a mill per person.
were you able to see it though??
@@bhavin27788 Yes we were and it was totally worth it!!
@@jessegiesbrecht6300 Thanks, I am sp excited about my trip tp CR!
I feel like going inside trees is asking to be bitten by a snake/spider
Is a possibility but minor.. I was there a couple times and you don't see those animals around.
Thanks, very helpful, but what a shame you didn't use traditional Costa Rican music as the soundtrack.
