I remember that shot. They showed a replay where you could see the Texas Tech fans... the look on their faces as they watched that shot drop... defined "deflated".

Yeah that Baylor and Dayton games were outstanding. Dayton had a ton of shooters. And that was perfect defense in that Baylor game, just perfect defense at the end of the day. Hands up contesting the shot. Excellent defense by Dotson. Baylor had nothing for Uzebike all day.

With a little more good fortune in the NCAA Tournament, in all seriousness, Bill Self could quite realistically have 5 National titles already as opposed to the 2 he now has. His 2022 National Championship team was probably not even one of his Top 5 teams. Self, with better luck, could have, and probably should have won the NCAA Title in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2016, 2017, and 2020 (Kansas was near-unanimous No. 1 when COVID cancelled the NCAA Tournament). And I could explain in more detail why Kansas should have won in those years. Bill Self is one of the Top 5 coaches in history.

One of the Greatest Coaches of All Time. Other than winning a National Championship the hardest thing to do in College Basketball is to win your Conference. While at Kansas Bill Self has only three years where the Jayhawks didn't at least have a share of the title. 14 of those in a row, the most all time for consecutive championships, in a really tough Power 5 Conference. No one else has ever done that or probably ever will again. Not Coach K, not Bobby Knight, not John Wooden, not Adolph Rupp, not Dean Smith, not Roy Williams, no one. That should be recognized as one of the greatest sports records ever. When/If he wins another National Championship, he should be on everyone's Mount Rushmore of College Coaches or at least in the conversation. I personally think he should have two National Championships on his resume, because the Jayhawks were the undisputed number 1 team in the country at the end of the 2019-2020 season and they should be recognized as such. Truly Bill Self is one of the best and right now I don't know if there is a better coach in the Country.
Definitely and with the amount of parity in CBB in today’s game just helps that case. He also just took a team, that is being hounded by possible NCAA sanction hits that’s scared plenty of solid recruits out, to a 3-seed in the NCAA tournament. Dude can flat out coach.

Funny thing is they already were already embarrassing Kansas. But way too many threes they chucked up. Meanwhile Ku was getting inside every possession but every once in a while they shot a three.
