Great job on the window fix. I really enjoy watching what you two are able to get done on a limited budget. Keep it up. The only question I have is this: what are the plans for the other bus?
Hey great job of replacing glass panels on Roof , but didn't get why you did not do whole Roof (as in sand back remove rust then primer ?) would it not Look much better ?????
8,600 subscribers. Humorous brothers. Pretty good repairs actually. Did you consider pop-up windows for the roof? It is great to be able to get some ventilation up there sometimes. you have to worry about bugs and a screen as well as water...
thank u very much i hope to see more video ima poor handi capped slob trying to make it month to month n i love watchin vids i came cross your vids be typing in vw vans restros...... so thnk u ....
You should've paint the roof before you install the windows in the roof because there'll be a small amount of metal left with out paint. Good video though.
+DoubleODude I still plan on welding the roof shut, but I would like to use original bus roof metal. For that reason I held off and just went with the simple fix. When I have the money to get a donor roof she will be going back to being a full tintop.
it would be cool yet expensive to have a solid glass roof, it would be really cool for camping under the stars but weird i guess just in case of stalkers or the pain of replacing it if it cracks
I've quite enjoyed watching you guys fix up the Bus. Maybe someday I'll be able to do a similar project...
+The Gilb I recommend you do
its great you kept the skylights I think its a perfect fit for the bus. good job on the fab work.
+ShnitzlHaus thanks man :)

Good work boys. I enjoyed the whole series

I have read that Vinegar and water is really good at removing surface rust. I think is is one part vinegar to two or 3 parts water.
I subscribed for this I hope you guys can do more 😊🤙
I do hope you fellas invested in a JC Whitney book
I have a 76 tin top camper, but it does not have a place like the in the roof..... wish it did, I would love to put in a fan like that!!!!
Heating up the rubber helps / makes it soft
The windows are kind of cool. But I think I would have just welded in a panel. I'm just a purest I guess. Great video though.

+KF Garage you were smart to put the glass back in. Welding that up would probrobly be a disaster. it would warp like crazy

Jacob Neary also uhm...HOT AS HELL
For the two holes in the roof that you put glass in, you could instead install a fan.
Did you guys go on that camping trip?
+Zackary Levi :)
Side note, where did the starter button you used come from? I recognize it but for the life of me do not remember where.
It's from a VEX robotics kit I had from childhood lol
+KF Garage Ahh that's right I used the same switch back in high school. Hey, If it works Its works.
+minicoppergpiscool lol and it was free 👍
Was this bus originally a tin top camper, or did you install the cabinetry?
It was originally a Tin top camper
What kind of guitar is that?
It is an Applause AE128
