But that in no way takes away from Milchy's incredible ability, to so eloquently, breath such complex life into such a simple and basic example of human emotions/behaviors. That's an amazing talent. A true gift. What separates the good from the brilliant, in my humble opinion. Anyway, David Milch is one of the most underrated scene writers in the entertainment industry.
