I remember watching him during the euros and thinking "Wow! THAT is the type of player I want at Liverpool, but he's probably too expensive". It's a shame when such a gifted player struggles with injuries the way Federico has, but hopefully he's moved beyond it. It took VVD about 18 months to get back to the level he was at before his injury. I think that's right around where Federico finds himself now.
Now this is the type of player that I am ecstatic for the club to get. Those who are actually want to be here. Look how absolutely delighted he is and his missus. Beeming with smile and happy vibes.
