  • In this tutorial I demonstrate how to tie the shark jaw bone paracord bracelet. Also called the "piranha" paracord bracelet or just shark jaw, the bracelet is quite popular.
Considering that it is easy to tie and looks very exotic, it is one of those "must tie" bracelets for paracord enthusiasts.
The bracelet can be worn on either side, each is the opposite of the other in terms of color.

I made this today but I modified it so it's more of a Mad Max style closure with two diamond knots. instead of using a buckle I also used your diamond knot tutorial to make those. Do you have an Instagram account?

What I am missing here is the factor of length of the bracelet to the length of paracord used. Is it 1:10 ; 1:12 ; 1:??

Wow still no answer. I needed a 70” one and had so much paracord wasted. I guess I’ll be making a few key chains and bracelets next. Let me try to google.

He said 5 foot. I've not made this yet, but that was in the directions.

I just tied my first shark Janine the other day. It's a great weave. In the proper colors, it is even professional looking. I'm glad you shared this tutorial, Mark!
Could you do some of us a favor? There is another good looking bracelet called dragonteeth by limited550 (no spaces in either one). Could you try translating the photo tutorial into a video? I'm sure it's easy, but we're just not getting it. blog.swiss-paracord.ch/portfolio-item/dragonteeth-tutorial/
Thanks for all your great tutorials, Mark!

Paracord guild Thanks. One guy managed to reverse engineer it and is supposed to put up a video tomorrow. He's not confident about it, though.
