“How the Mighty Have Fallen”

Although David’s lament was personal, he led all of Israel in mourning the nation’s calamity. As Alistair Begg explains, his sorrowful grief was a biblical response to death. When we take time to mourn, we show a watching world that death is indeed the last great enemy, even as we look forward to the return of Christ, who alone conquered death.

Like yourself Pastor Begg.. often songs come to mind.. "End of the World" Why do the birds go on singing, don't they know it's the end of the world, it ended when you said goodbye" Reflecting on my mother's death 11 years ago.
Praise be to God, she had gone home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Uhh, actually I belive it's about Satan falling from heaven like lightning, being that God's might is the thunder of the storm. Also rain rusts away iron and steel overtime, thus the saying,"The weapons of war have perished!"
