(That's 30,000 years ago, if you count the Neolithic period.) Surrounded by the sea on all sides, this island nation has a warm and humid climate and is blessed with abundant clear water resources, plants, and fisheries resources, and people have lived in peace since ancient times. People have respected harmony, lived peacefully as a group, exercised wisdom to overcome numerous natural disasters, lived in harmony with nature, and enjoyed the blessings of nature. The ancient name of the country, "YAMATO, WA," expresses the wishes and realities of such people to live.
There are approximately 1,300 deer. About 300 deer die each year from eating garbage discarded by humans or from accidents and disease. In some cases, tourists touch baby deer and the mothers abandon their babies. Coexistence between humans and deer is difficult.

Also, sometimes deer are killed because they ate crops. However, Nara's farmers are not properly barricaded. Even though they are receiving money from the city for barricades. If you barricade it, deer won't eat your crops, so there's no need to kill them.

そうですね。交通事故やゴミの誤飲などの問題がありますが、基本的に野生と同様の環境で育っているので、のびのびと過ごせていると思います。
