My guess is that all of the attacks on Russian and the Wagner Group are part of an overall strategy to weaken the Russian military organizational/operational infrastructures (versus what appears to be somewhat random, non-related attacks in a broad range of geographic locations).. If this is correct, we'll see a gradual increase in Russian loses both militarily and territorially.
Hitting targets in Crimea should carry a lot of weight to Russians. Crimea is so pivotal and important to Russia that they found it important to establish a land bridge to there. Striking targets there really does put a big hole in their efforts. Ukrainians are only getting better and better at it and time is not on Russia's side.

If Ukraine could retake Crimea, it would give them control of these bases and make it more difficult for Russia to project power in the Black Sea region. My guess is that all of the attacks on Russian and the Wagner Group are part of an overall strategy to weaken the Russian military organizational/operational infrastructures (versus what appears to be somewhat random, non-related attacks in a broad range of geographic locations).. If this is correct, we'll see a gradual increase in Russian loses both militarily and territorially.
Hitting targets in Crimea should carry a lot of weight to Russians. Crimea is so pivotal and important to Russia that they found it important to establish a land bridge to there. Striking targets there really does put a big hole in their efforts. Ukrainians are only getting better and better at it and time is not on Russia's side.

If Ukraine could retake Crimea, it would give them control of these bases and make it more difficult for Russia to project power in the Black Sea region. I will be watching the Crimea situation closely to see if Ukraine can continue gaining more control there.
