By the way for the lash : I've noticed that Kizer linerlocks often have a lockbar that will travel with the detent ball a bit before releasing the blade, creating that weird lash that emits no sound
Black with Ultem is definitely the way to go. Just saw this earlier today on Knifecenter and was very Intrigued
Kizer has been absolutely killing it in the action department lately. The Varatas on skiffs its guillotine drop shut with zero play. No friction at all and a great edc profile with a surprisingly good front flipper
When the day is complete and you gently lay your weary head on your pillow and close your eyes, ..words will come to your mind .............DETENT LASH!!! PEEPEE LASH!!

That detent hole looks giant
Coated blade or stonewashed? Kizer website says Black Stonewashed but that looks coated compared to my other Kizer blades with black stonewash.

I don't really see the profit from swapping the og bearings to skiff bearings here. I'm not too well versed in it because ordering from skiff cost a lot for me (France). I don't often do it, only when the OG bearings are dog poopoo. With the same number of ceramic balls, would the cage of a skiff bearing make it smoother compared to the plastic cage of many knife bearings ?

Detent hole definetaly looked funky like its unfinished I wonder if it was cleaned out with a dremel or diamond file if it would go away or make it worse
