Cayde was the number one reason that I became a hunter main in d1. Thanks to cayde I discovered the journey of destiny during our age of triumph when rise of iron occured. When I first played forsaken and witnessed...you know. I litterly broke down crying because he was such an amazing character. Hearing him say it wasnt on me broke me. I wasnt fast enough to reach cayde and stop uldren. The ace is being looked after and the colonel is being fed ramen cayde. But not sure how proud he would be with me using stasis. Rest in peace buddy. 😔😔

As someone who's switched over from CoD to Destiny, this made me love Destiny even more. Honestly, I don't keep up with voice actors from games, so I'm actually just now discovering that Nolan voices in Destiny. Kinda sad tho, because his characters in both games die
My heart is still broken till this day. Even though I'm a Warlock, Cayde-6 gave us something that no others can, and thats comedy. Till this day I'm still believing that there is maybe a chance that he will still come back and make a dramatic entrance like he always do. One of the thoughts I had (if Savathun have infiltrated this far) is that Cayde may have known that she have infiltrated and spreading fast. Knowing this, Cayde may have uploaded his memories in order to through Savathun off and come back as Cayde-7 with a dramatic comedy entrance to help us in victory.

Honestly...I gave up when Cayde died. Less out of hate for the developers and more so out of grief. Cayde was not just a character to me. He was that friend I needed when I felt sad and needed a good laugh. He was always there for me when I picked up my controller. He was the guy that managed to keep me going, pushing through my depression. I know he's just a character in a story made by a company, but that's not what he was to me.
Nolan North did do a very good voice over of Cayde-6. I was surprised how little difference I could tell in the Forsaken expansion. There is a difference though. I miss the character and Nathan Fillion for sure.
