    Excellent Review. I have the Becker BK-21 and the Becker Bk-2; love them both. Stay Safe

    I have the bk2 and the bk9. Would love to get the 7 for my collection. Kinda wish I would have bought that before my bk9. Cool video sir

      Thanks👍 I have the bk9, and it's too light for a machete and too long for a knife. The bk7 is a good choice 👌

    Great knives! You can modify them in many ways and they really do become a whole different knife that will perform so well!

      If I modified it, I'd mess it up. Hope you enjoyed the video wazzer.

      I had to get a new innertube about 3 months ago for my mountain bike and cut some off the old one for the handle. The trouble is, the snap button is a bit difficult to do up, so I have to pull it up out the way a bit. Hope you enjoyed the video, Mark and cheers. 👍

    The first Becker knife I ever bought was the bk9. I have both the BK9 & the BK7. Both are great knives and have had them for a few years now. I bought the Bk9 again after I sold my first one but I remember a couple years ago we had a storm in the winter and a tree fell blocking my neighbor's front door. I came over with my bk9 and chopped it into about 3 or 4 long pieces so I could move them, took me about maybe 20 minutes. I know they are great knives so it kinda sucks that they have gone up in price but I understand why. but they are still cheaper than Esee. Becker gives Esee a run for their money. The awesome thing about these knives is that you can totally customize them any way you want. I put Micarta scales and I bought a cheap knife that had a really cool sheath that had a built-in compass, a Ferro rod, and a sharpening rod and gave the cheap knife to a friend but put my Bk7 in the new sheath which fit perfectly. It certainly looks way more expensive and it looks so cool. Kydex is overrated and expensive and it's loud when you draw the knife and/or put it back in the sheath. mine is completely silent like a leather sheath. I basically paid $35 for the sheath and to me, the knife was just an extra. I highly suggest an alternative to Kydex, you'd be surprised.

    Love the knife, hate the grips and sheath. Really wish KaBar would offer a premium version with both upgraded.

      @richardsveum8452 I've always thought this with reference to the sheath. There's plenty of videos saying the same. If they done a premium version, they would sell out within weeks. We, the #youtubers, would probably provide all the advertising they would need. It's a no-brainer.

    I should have bought one of these years back when they were $70. I just bought one for about $120.

      That's the same with anything. It doesn't pay to be a supper saver, save some money to back you up when things go wrong, or big purchases but prices go up over the years, money sitting stagnant in the bank doesn't so de-values. You got one, which is great, I bet you're not sorry, It's one of the best as well. Though I wish ka-bar did upgraded sheaths as an indevidual option. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the video 👍

    What other bk knifes fit in the smaller sheath?

    • @Andy-walkaboutnutty
      @Andy-walkaboutnutty  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @gungrave818vn anything shorter than 7". The tip of this bk7 was about less than 1cm in from the bottom edge.

    Any limits on knife laws in the UK?

    • @Andy-walkaboutnutty
      @Andy-walkaboutnutty  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you're only supposed to have a knife with a 3-inch blade maximum that folds but doesn't lock into place. However, you can have a fixed blade that's bigger than 3 inches if you are using it as a tool for work or a hobby or something like that. I'm sure there's a better explanation somewhere, but that's all I know.

      @@Andy-walkaboutnutty The most loyal Brits I know are retired Ghurhas. I wonder if they can keep their knife in the UK.

      @branned in reality, they will. Imagine the uproar if the government complained, that would be entering into the realms of communism.
