If NG sort out the little issues with the printing positioning then this will be an absolute high flyer, especially with the 3 Lufthansa liveries.
Not sure why they went with a fictional BOAC 747-8i with a Concorde registration. But I guess its to trial the mould with collectors.
NG really need to do a 747-400 but also a 767 mould I think

They just announced the 767 and 747-400...

Great review! The NG 747-8 Mould looks amazing! All it needs is a bit of adjustments to the printings.
I would be surprised if NG would start the 747-8 models with N863GT, the last 747 ever. I would love to get my hands on that if that gets released from them!

Great review the model does look relatively accurate to the real aircraft, Always worry about cockpit windshield placement as most manufacturers position them too low but this looks good so far

Great video. Retro fancies!!! What about a Braniff Big orange.... since they didn't do the 747SP. :-(
    Thanks man

    Hey, great vid.
Do you have a guess according the price for the models? I've read something around 90-100 US-$... quiet much for an 1:400 model.

I doubt it be that high ng model are more expensive but they’re not Gemini jet who sells overprice low quality models I think the planes gonna be in the $70-$80

There's no reason these won't be in the usual $50 range. Why would the price double all of a sudden?

They need a Boeing 747classic moulds (100 and 200 series) they can make(milk) so many money with many unseen liveries before.

Is it your experience that NG has heeded your advice in the past?
Having these samples obviously implies that someone there cares about what you think.

NG does listen. They fixed a couple of issues on the l1011 and they even shared a link to the written review.

Historically yes they have fixed lots of issues that I've raised. Whether they fix everything though is another matter

Hope they never do an interactive version. At least not a sloppy mold like GJ/JC.

Honestly interactive(minus landing gears that could be cool) should be confined to 1/200, 1/400 is way too small to not only cram the details and the interactive bits into a model, even if its a 747-8
