Exactly, this is what made me love him. At first, initially being a baby ARMY, I also had this impression that he's just another crackhead who came of as a little cocky and sassy, overboard with the jokes guy and even people viewed him as just the 'entertainer' of the group. But after I watched a few run eps, I saw glimpses in which he became flustered and nervous which was very unlike the Jin I knew. So I dug more into his personality and started focusing more on him and that made me see the *real* him. Like u said, a very kind, humble and generous soul who actually cant handle being complimented very well (unless he himslef is the one doing it😂). Jin really deserves all the love in this galaxy. We love our Moon!!💜

Remember the florist run episode? The florist said that jin came up to him after and told him that he often does silly things and jokes around because the other members get shy and he wants them to feel more comfortable and less nevrsous and shy. The fact that jin himself is the shyest member but is always the ice breaker of the group😭. He is the most precious and selfless person i have ever seen!

At first impression everyone thinks that he's an extrovert because of his cheerful and confident behaviors. Once he said he tried not to show his depressed mood in order to cheer everyone up. I loved him even more when I found out that he is an introverted person. He is such a lovable human being.

*I have always noticed that even in their "SEXY, DARK" concepts, jin is given the most modest clothing along with yoongi. Even in blood, sweat and tears era they dint go all out with jin's sexy look. Come to think of it, we have seen the members abs in the earl 'we are bulletproof' era but since then we have not seen jin's abs or chest eventhough Bangtan says that he has the washboard abs to show off. When his shirt raised during airplane pt2, he went to the side to fix it. He almost always wears baggy clothes...*
And I don't think it's so much he's uncomfortable with how he looks but more so he likes being modest. It's more comfortable for him.
And that one time his stylists put him in a see through shirt, and he didnt even realize it until later but after he did he tried to cover it up so bad. Maybe it’s just me but when I first saw Jin, I didn’t see him as overly confident at all. I felt like he was being that way to overcompensate for something, in this case his shy and quiet nature. I think it’s important to look beneath the surface. Just because someone comes off a certain way doesn’t mean they’re actually that way. I’m not saying Jin isn’t confident because he has his moments when his inner confidence really shines through. I’m just saying that there are times when his confident appearance hides something deeper. I think many people are like that. I think Jin is a great person. He’s humble, gentle, caring, smart, considerate and brave (despite what others might say because it takes guts to do what you fear and Jin still does those things, like in Run BTS and Bon Voyage). I wish more people saw him that way instead of "Confident Jin". He’s way more than that.

He caught my attention first of course cause he is really good-looking and also because of his extreme showing of confidence that is somewhat out of place or overcompensating for something. I think this is why Seokjin was born to act and perform, it might sound strange to be so shy but that's when everyone is focussing on his personal self. When he's acting or singing on stage, he's going into the 'zone' which is why he can do it so brilliantly. They say some of the shyest people make the best actors, because they slip into character. another example OK not shyness related, but remember when Seokjin was making the fake love MV? That enormous explosion on his set and he didn't even flinch? He tends to jump at bangs and explosions but when they called ACTION, he was super professional and nailed the scene

when i first became an army, my first impression of seokjin was that he is loud and energetic; outgoing and spontaneous... but as i got to know him more i realized that that's only the persona he shows to us army. seokjin is actually a very shy and private person. he gets flustered when there's too much attention on him and he does not like to share the dark or sad parts of himself to us. seokjin truly is a person who struggles but is so very selfless: in front of the camera he will act very outgoing and confident just to make sure his members feel more comfortable. he is so incredibly caring and hardoworking and it sucks that he does not get all the recognition he deserves. i admire him for so so so many reasons. i'm a person with severe social anxiety and i relate to seokjin a lot. and that's part of the reason why he is my bias. we're similar on many levels and he's my inspiration to be more outgoing and more confident. seokjin, i want you to know that your happiness should be your main priority and that us army's will love and support you no matter what. even when you feel comfortable to talk about your dark and sad parts of yourself, because that wont make us love you any less. you are such a strong, incredible, and talented person. i hope you know that baby boy. i wanna give u a hug so bad lol.
Jin is known to be a very laud and confident person, but really, he's introverted. He's quiet when he's off camera or by himself, and like you can see from this video, he is extremely shy. He likes to spread happiness and good vibes. That's why he always try to stay positive. He really don't like to show his struggles because he doesn't want the people around him to feel bad or sad. I think that's why I cried for hours after listening to Abyss and reading his letter. It's rare for Jin to open up to the public like that. Jin is truly amazing! He also have the best mentality I've ever seen in a human being! Even BTS agrees on that Jin has the best mentality among the members. He has the most caring and loving soul! His kindness never fails to amaze me. I know most people see Jimin as the softest member of Bangtan, but I would say that's Jin. He's heart is made of gold. There are so many small herftmelting actions he does that are easy to miss if you don't pay close attention. The fact that he also become a member of BTS with zero experience singing or dancing, and still become this amazing artist that he is today, shows how truly amazing Kim Seokjin really is. He took his weaknesses and trough hard work made them into his straights. If that isn't amazing, I really don't know what is.

When I was a new army i was under the impression that Jin was the most extroverted after Jhope because he always tried to light up the mood with his funny jokes and "I'm WWH" but the more I got to know him I realised he's actually shy and despite that he tries to act as a buffer at interviews to make his members feel more comfortable.
