    I can’t thank you enough for this very thorough review. I saw this player from another TH-cam channel and almost got it for my daughter. But now I definitely will not. And not because of its lack of perfect audiophile sound as she could care less about that. But because I choose not to invest my money in a company with disregard for its customers by using such questionable jargon and misleading locations . Wow this was almost more like investigative journalism than just a fast uninformative review you see from most. You rock my friend. And again thank you so very much.

    service and repair was a topic I was glad to see mentioned as a buying consideration, because that is the only thing that will keep products from becoming waste and crowding the landfill.
    I am grateful my turntable has the readily available parts I need , by simply buying over the internet. the table lost a spring when a friend moved it, but I will be able to fix that and it will probably be used for generations beyond my ownership.

    Welcome back Chris! Thank you once again for a very well thought out and informative discussion of a new product that may or may not be a product that someone wants to spend their hard earned money on. I appreciate your candor and find it refreshing to hear when someone is honest about their findings and report what they found!
    Keep up the good work!

    I was under the impression that you'd comment on the turntable's sound quality. The record player's playback effect is really great.

    Hey Chris, Great to see your Back, & thank you for the review / Investigative product review. Good to see the manufacture took notice of your well informed Video & Is now trying to do some corrections. That, I think is a testament to your fair, kind, but 'no Sugar Coated' truth about the product. My first thought at the beginning of the video was how are the isolating the Vibration from the speakers? I know this can be done fairly simply, but I Did not recall you touching on the subject. If you did & I missed that, please forgive me, I Will re- Watch ; ) Keep up the good work, God Bless.

      I did fail to mention the springs that separate the plinth from the speakers.

    If the platter is setting on top of the speaker array, wouldn't the vibration affect the sound? Curious.

    • @thevinylattack
      @thevinylattack  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      There’s a spring assembly underneath the plinth to assuage the vibration. I failed to mention. That in the review 🤦🏻‍♂️

    For a little more than that price, buy a Kenwood KD-1033, a little class D amp, little phono pre, and a pair of 80's/90's locally built mass made speakers (for us in France, JMLab Focal Symbol for example), and you'll destroy all this.

      While that will indeed sound better, it will also cost more than twice as much. It also doesn't address why most people would want a product like this. Simplicity.

    This review seems to have whipped them into shape.. The web site seems a little more cleared up of errors as of my writing this and they may be the first made in China company that admitted they are Chinese.. LOL

    You're not anti-Chinese, you're anti-junk. The poorly made turntable negates the benefit of the all-in-one speaker base.

      @@gotham61 I found another company video that said it otherwise. That's where I got the pronunciation, not that I'm overly concerned with it either way.
