The reverb tail and the late reflections on those are awesome! I'm still trying to wrap my head around convolution IRs a bit but seeing the recording process here definitely helps. The room itself is really cool too and the way Eve Audio treated it additionally even with it being super diffuse to begin with is neat!
Here's what i noticed. The highs peaked faster when they were closer, first 2 were almost immediate, half was noticeable, super more so, corner the most. The warbles became more apparent the wider they got too, corners being the most prominent.

Actually reverb really is a tough topic for me. I lately fell in love with what Jens Bogren achieves with reverb and delay and have no clue how to approach it. It is similar to this example actually. The reverb decays are so long, but still work. What are you guys doing reverb and delay wise in a rock or metal mix?

How can I find it at this point? :) Also great video as always, I always loved how relatively easy it is to create unique IRs which you'll always have more of a connection to rather than "random church IR #28". Even though this room basically sounds like a giant church :D

Please, for the love of Tech., next time make the impulses at 96kH (24bit)! Up-sampling them is not good! Down-sampling is not a big deal. The IRs are of no use to me. IMPORTANT: On the 'KM183 Very Close' IR there is an audible anti-aliasing arti-fact (chirping noise). Almost sounds like a camera shutter movement. On the 'KM184 Half Wide' IR only the last portion of the arti-fact can be heard (tiny click or poppiing).
@@KohleAudioKult Hahaha, but "for free" you might get some "extra chirping" flavour. Jokes aside, the IRs are not good, and I pointed out the objective (tech.) reasons for that. And after all you say "How do you like that room and the IRs? Let me know!" so I did.
