Aight so here are 3 things I forgot in the video 1) Inserters can be used to insert fuel into drilled graphite blocks, this can be used for pile automation 2) drilled graphite block will emit a redstone signal based on the depletion level of the fuel. Also the Chicago pile can be cooled using the fan. I'll maybe cover all of this in a separate video 3) there's limestone blocks now which can be processed into calcium and flux. This part was in my recording by I've no idea when I deleted it while editing 😕
This mod is really risking becoming my most favorite one, especially with an almost whole, fully accurate oil refinery department! Also, that red pill gives a whole new meaning on "Based and Repilled"! :D

This has already been my fav for a long time now. It's the only reason I still stubbornly refuse to move beyond 1.7.10 and 1.12.2. The extended 1.12.2 port is sadly lacking a lot but still fulfills my desire for such amazing multiblock machines and nukes. Supposedly there's ports in development for 1.16.5 and 1.18.2 but these are still very early on in development.
Dang, alot of stuff has been added. but with all this stuff using inserters, I really do think we are going to have a way of fully automating the RBMK reactor, I can feel it!! The inserters are meant to automate chicago pile, however yes it would be pretty interesting to see if that day ever comes when the RBMK is fully automated. Also thanks bro glad to know you enjoyed the video :)
I actually started recording a playthrough a couple of weeks ago but then couldn't continue cause of work and studies. Believe me this has been the single most requested for a long time and there is nothing more I would like than to just start doing it as well
But work with commute takes up like 12- 13 hours of my time and in the remaining time I've to study as well. Let's see tho once the mod is stable enough and there are no major gamechanging updates coming in I'll try and start recording again
In 1.12.2, the RBMK reactor got an emergency cooling unit and fluid heater. Will you cover those in a future RBMK design, and can I replace structural collumns with cooling units?
Yes I most definitely plan on covering them in a video soon. And I don't think you need to replace structural columns with cooling units (I mean ofc you can do that if you want to afterall it's your reactor) cause strutural columns are good for conducting heat and cooling units are generally only used for very hot reactors and they also need a constant supply of cryogel afaik

IVE NEEDED THE MINING HELMET FOR YEARS THANK F*** I don't know if you mentioned it but they also added a feature where if you HOLD coal or coal products in your inventory you inhale coal dust and get black lung... it only used to be from mining! I've died so many times now lol
yeah I didn't mention it, I thought that was known thats why. But yes the mining helmet especially if you get it from the bonus chest in the early game is so helpful. Cause by the time you get to mid game most resources will be automated using the bedrock ores
This mod keeps getting better, but I don't know why all versions of the mod have "server ticking crash" on everything belonging to "oil", like, pump jack, oil drill base so is a little sad because I can't use anything that is linked to "oil"
Which version of the mod are you using, I highly recommend downloading the latest version of the mod cause I have no issues with oil whatsoever Also which version of minecraft are you playing this mod on - 1.7.10 or 1.12.2 ??
Fyi, most estrogen pills nowadays are blue, but during the time the oringal matrix was written, they were red, thats what the orignal red pill blue pill thing in the first matrix movie is a refrence to, and what this is probably refrencing
balefire emits 15k rads/s right ... most armors seem too weak even with the multiplier they have. An alternate method that you can use is to use "fan" to push the balefire into a itemgrate which is placed on top of a hopper and connect the hopper into a crate. So once the balefire falls into the crate you can break it and transport it around As for armor I will do some testing with the liquidator suit and armor modifications !!
@@SavageVegeta I've already found a solution, it's using watery taint and a cloud of jar. But the fan sounds like a nice and effective method. I'll try it out
I actually did one a while back but it is severely outdated as so many new things especially for the early game were added into the mod. I don't play much survival so making that video takes alot of research but yes I'll try to get one out soon. Just waiting it out for the updates to stabilize cause if you've been following the GitHub the last update introduced a pretty big change in the energy system which will be further expanded upon

Yes every ore which has its bedrock variant is infinite and yes it's a game changer. However I love it as it will give a whole new direction to the game rather than just going around the world mining for resources

This does not develop the game and does not create any direction except to sit in one place. If we're talking about wars, then the meaning of wars is lost because there will be no point in capturing new territories as there will be endless resources on old territories and there is no motivation to capture territories. Bob is destroying the mods more and more and you are contributing to this with your support.
@@farnorth7216 well there are many resources still which can be only collected by roaming the world map. I think these ores only make the mid game a lil bit easier but the end game materials still need to be grinded

Yes the smaller updates really add alot to the QOL side of the mod. Now with infinite ores things will definitely take a drastic turn for the mod. And the mining helmet is definitely a life saver for early game if you manage to get it in a bonus chest while starting a new world

with the new minecraft eula/tos change, enforcmeent and movement from eula to tos mods like ntm face getting taken down, please publicize this isssue and tell more people to spread the message the more we can spread this around the more mods like vmw, and ntm stand a chance (and it also targets servers), age verification is no longer allowed so this is like a tripple blow to modern war servers im in (mods being banned/mod authors too, server no longer can use age verification, servers with guns in it being given takedown warnings) even the mention of the names of guns is not alowed
Yes it is a real shame that they are giving into such woke politics targeting guns inside games but for now it seems like these rules will only apply to servers and not individual mods. And even if they do target mods most of them are hosted on multiple platforms so it won't really be an issue Also I did read this on reddit that as long as you are playing on a private server and no one reports it for this issue no action will be taken against it. So as long as you keep your servers private and don't let woke people in you should be good to go

Well the author of the channel is not always happy ... even I hated the removal of the small nuclear reactor or how the AMS was rendered useless. But telling that to Bob is generally of no use cause 1) he doesn't really take suggestions and does what he wants to do 2) I don't contribute in the development of the mod so I don't really have any right to criticize what's added and what's not cause beggars can't be choosers About the recent update, the mod is constantly updating and we have not seen the final version of the mod ... maybe a machine which will require a constant supply of such machines will be added for progression. And even if it is not I have learned to work with what I have rather than complaining of what could have been

Did you know that you now can open silo hatches with redstone! I noticed this when testing, but it only works on the middle front block.
The silo hatch opener could always take Redstone signal to operate ... This functionality isn't new in any way

can you make a 3x3 reactor with an az-3 switch or you can only embroider 15x15
For az5 control rods are needed, there is no 3x3 design for a normal reactor that would be completely enclosed
