- hello! this week i had an upper endoscopy where they injected botox into the muscle between my stomach and small intestine to try and help my nausea. thanks for watching!!

Warning ⚠️ in Gastric Botox, there will be blood in the stomach from perforations which is not good. I read in a medical article that Gastric Botox (recently done in some third world countries) can cause serious damage to the stomach such as Gastrointestinal Perforation, and severe bacterial infection and a myriad of other problems that could cause death. PS: for those of you who landed here from a TH-cam search. This operation is not FDA approved meaning for now a pseudoscience. Pay attention Botox can cause cancer in the long run always remember this. So please pay attention and only use FDA approved surgical operations for weight loss

I was, as the tiniest of babies (like the ages of 3-6) one of the first people to test Botox. They gave it to me as a muscle relaxant for my limbs. No local anesthesia, nothing - it was a horrific experience and wore off after a few years, but it does have its uses. I hope it helps you 💓

@@laurenboh it's long over now - I'm sorry getting Botox in your stomach didn't relieve your nausea like you hoped. It can be hit-or-miss and not super long-lasting, but when it works (like it did for me for those few years) it worked well. Today it's mostly used in organs and not limbs, which means you don't need casts, etc. It's strange, powerful, finicky stuff.

Hi how long did it take to get the procedure done how long in the hospital?
the procedure itself was only like 40 minutes I think!
@@laurenboh hi lauren, i also had botox for gastroparesis. A question, is true that botox need also 2 weeks to start working or it is untrue? And how was your experience with it
@@mike0133that was my experience. It took roughly a week and a half to two weeks to really see a difference. What was your experience? I also noticed an almost immediate drop in my mood after, but I’m not sure it’s related.
@@silent_amy the same with me. But unluckily i suffer also of small bowel dysmotility. So the stomach isn't the only part of my bowel that is compromised. I have also done a G-POEM, it helped a bit, and took almost two months to recover from the surgery.

I want to try the Botox injections but, my insurance won't pay for it and I can't afford 4 injections at 4000+ a piece.
I have CRPS so my leg is really tight I have to get it every three months everytime I go to the doctors there hoping this dose works 🤞
