The world is so cray cray at this time and my only respite from all of it is the music I play here on this channel. I forget all my stresses and troubles when I listen to these songs. It seems that more and more of you are agreeing with me and I am rapidly approaching 100K subscribers.Based on the comments I've been reading, we are looking back and holding on to the lovely and happy memories these songs evoke. No one does it better than Stevie Wonder who singlehandedly shepherded us through the seventies in style with "Sir Duke", "I Wish", "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life" and so many others. His music is soothing and unabashedly romantic, the perfect antidote to these troubled times. For Throwback Thursday, I have done a remix of "My Cherie Amour" that combines the sound of classic Motown along with the emotionally expressive voice and lyrics of Stevie Wonder....I feel so languid, lost in memories of how good things could be if we work at.
