However, Big Hit Entertainment had other plans and convinced him to become a trainee for BTS. That means Jin learned to sing and dance in 2011, 2 years before BTS's debut. He's only been singing for about 10 years.

yes actually jin does many high notes in BTS songs and some of the harder parts of songs, the members themselves said he has the widest range and he has an amazing lower register too (Dionysus for example). He actually started learning to play the piano specifically so he can perform epiphany with real piano playing (his dedication is wow) and then he took lessons to learn even more, he also taught himself guitar. I also recommend reacting to his cover autumn outside the post office for a different vibe and his new solo abyss (along with his blogpost)
