Seriously hoping they don't leave Leonidas and Ushi in the dust. Was really disappointed for no Hans update in the CCC event but at least that had the excuse of Hans not being a character in the event's story at least. That excuse won't fly for Babylonia, Ushi especially is pretty memorable in the Babylonia 2nd half.
To be fair Hans got an insane buff to his third skill in February this year, right before the Seraph rerun event, I'd say the timing was definitely not a coincidence
I don't really think you can call that an excuse, because Hans really has literally next to nothing to do with the event, and updating him due to connections between him and Kiara out of the game just feels like a weird rationale why to update him then.
Not only that, Hans falls under the Marie antoinette circumstance. They both had no combat experience and nothing to do with combat which is why the Root just taught them how to shoot magic energy as a weapon. Hans is also really lazy, so he wouldn't even do anything for his attacks.

I cursed Dantes not because I hated him for getting the update, but because makes me think that DW gives love and praise to SSRs that have a unique animation already rather than the servants with plain and basic animations that are in the game from launch.

Mike Barnes well Gil was a different case as his animations stayed the same after his NP animation updated near the START of the game. Thats almost 4 years with the same animations. Compared to Ishtar his animations are kinda subpar, but he is supposed to be the extravagant king of heroes. Sure, his NP gets updated twice but his attack anims only get updated once and it was a good rework to his animations that persisted for majority of the game’s running; in summary Gil’s was well deserved, especially with his sprite, while its cool that they updated ishtar too (more like polished tho), people are kinda disappointed that if DW was just gonna do a nice little polish then it wouldnt have hurt to at least do ushi and leonidas too as they both played big roles in babylonia and have some of the saddest looking animation (i mean seriously look at leonidas’ NP). Personally i find it nice that DW is willing to polish servants with decent animations thanks to the new engine but i was hoping they wouldnt just do that for the anime release campaign. That being said, my fingers are crossed for a surprise update on the first episode release maybe?
YES! I absolutely love her new animations. The ones before were good, so I thought to myself like they’re not gonna change THAT much. They have the same concept but just added more effects, which is fitting since Babylonia anime. Her new Buster was necessary since doing Buster Buster with no different animation was kinda boring. Also her NP looks a better which is really good. Her new skill animation is great since her first and second skill have nothing to do with gems so having a different animation was basically necessary. Also different lines! I love her new lines!! Now that we got Ishtar update, I wonder who will be next? Most of the servants in the Babylonia anime need new animation. Cast Gil in my opinion doesn’t need one since Gilgamesh just got one. Probably Enkidu or Eresh then if they’re gonna go for another 5 star.
that looks even better honestly.... yeah yeah it the same animations but they add a lot of details a lot of shine effect the explosion was even better... I like this .. to be honest there was some mistakes in the previous animation but it was so minor but there was a lot of it ... someone like me look so close to details will get somehow a little pissed from that ... but this looks so clean.. I've always had a love hate relationship with these kinda animation updates. It's like going from a sketch to finished art. Yes its polished but something is left behind.
I love the new animations but I was honestly expecting Ishtar to utilize Rin’s melee prowess without the boat, however I absolutely love the buzzsaw attack she has and the update to her np animation.

I wish I could be as optimistic as you are. I think that they forgot that Ushi (and others) exist, so I am afraid they won't be getting any updates with this campaign. If they were getting updates, we'd probably be already aware of by now.

In all fairness, this really isn't an 'Animation update' as it is just a touch up like Gil's or Melt's. A majority of the animations and poses are the same with her Second Buster being the only actually new one. Still, it wasn't wholly necessary even if it is nice to see her do a couple poses or one or two things different, and I would rather see Ushi not stutter step on boats and actually have her scaled properly.
Her animations certainly look more polished now, very nice indeed. Having said all of that, as someone who has a grailed Ushi (my first grailed servant as a matter of fact), I'm still incredibly salty at DW for not giving the animation update she deserves. The only time she has actual, story relevance and what does she get? Nothing at all. It's very frustrating, to be honest. At this point, I think Ushi won't ever get an animation update. And if it (in a very unlikely world) happens, it will probably take more than 3 years for it to happen. I usually am very supportive of DW, and genuinely am happy with the game right now, however, I have to say it: screw DW. Please, remember that Ushi exists.
My bet is that they're holding her animations for a arcade "Babylon theme" banner soon. Ushi wasn't released when they dropped Benkei in the game, and Ishtar is one of the poster servants of FGO Arcade.

Tactics which he already has, charisma or warriors warcry or maybe a combination of the two (tho typemoon dosent care much for 2 to 3 stars so i dont see that happening). And maybe an np charge skill or guts or invincible added to his 3rd skill. That would make him one of the best 3 star lancers. Its honestly stupid that someone who could go toe to toe with achilles himself is so trash in this game. Just goes to show that unless its a 5 star waifu or cash cow, tyoemoon dosent give a fuck about them anymore which is bs.

Her animations certainly look more polished now, very nice indeed.
Having said all of that, as someone who has a grailed Ushi (my first grailed servant as a matter of fact), I'm still incredibly salty at DW for not giving the animation update she deserves. The only time she has actual, story relevance and what does she get? Nothing at all. It's very frustrating, to be honest. At this point, I think Ushi won't ever get an animation update. And if it (in a very unlikely world) happens, it will probably take more than 3 years for it to happen.
I usually am very supportive of DW, and genuinely am happy with the game right now, however, I have to say it: screw DW. Please, remember that Ushi exists.
My bet is that they're holding her animations for a arcade "Babylon theme" banner soon.
Ushi wasn't released when they dropped Benkei in the game, and Ishtar is one of the poster servants of FGO Arcade.
I mean. There would need to be an event for Ushi to be thr MC of for her to get an animation update.

@@Conkel Hmmmm, I honestly feel like charisma would be great on hector what with him being one of troy's most respected generals and son of king priam. Tactics which he already has, charisma or warriors warcry or maybe a combination of the two (tho typemoon dosent care much for 2 to 3 stars so i dont see that happening). And maybe an np charge skill or guts or invincible added to his 3rd skill. That would make him one of the best 3 star lancers. Its honestly stupid that someone who could go toe to toe with achilles himself is so trash in this game. Just goes to show that unless its a 5 star waifu or cash cow, tyoemoon dosent give a fuck about them anymore which is bs.
