They’re solid. I was trying to figure out what was best for my emergency set up and I found this to be reasonably priced.... unless I want to start storing gasoline in trash bags 🤪
Are you looking to have it directly connected to extend the runtime of the generator, or do you want to show how to remove gas and put it in the generator manually. I have a preference of doing it manually, simply because my generators have a run time of about 6-8 hours. Usually that's when I want to step outside to check to see if the world is still there, fill the generator if I want to, and go back inside.
At 1:35 I dont understand why if there's a vacuum inside the cap would pop off or fuel would leak out? Is that sound air/vapors coming INTO the tank (vacuum) or air/vapors coming OUT OF the tank (positive pressure in the can)?
The sound you hear is air pushing into the can. Not sure how it happened, but last time I took the cap off immediately because I was rushing and gasoline shot out of the can no joke. Maybe it was the rush of air pushing in, forced gasoline out just by the sheer force.
I have two small Jerry cans and the 12gallion with a pump on it I got from Amazon. The pump really helps to drain some gas put it in my SUV and then to refill the tank to keep fresh gas in it
According to amazon it would be one of these. www.amazon.com/attwood-93806MUS7-Mercury-Fuel-Line/dp/B006MIXHSQ/ref=pd_bxgy_img_1/132-8188455-4631919?pd_rd_w=Sbazo&pf_rd_p=c64372fa-c41c-422e-990d-9e034f73989b&pf_rd_r=6NRNHWRE2RGRGN59XRQQ&pd_rd_r=e8bb9a04-7fa0-4723-9f0d-2319a97f6f4e&pd_rd_wg=flmd8&pd_rd_i=B006MIXHSQ&th=1
Gotta get a couple of those 12 gal. cans.👍

The 12 gallon looks good but what nozzle or pump is used ?
@@xxdmdeschamps72 it’s meant for a boat. Worked great while I had it. Traded up for a 13 galllon with a fuel dispenser ⛽️
The LAST can can you show HOW you connected to generator?? I am thinking about using such for lawnmower BUT what type of fitting is required?

Thx for the info dude
Thanks for the info, preciate it!
Glad I could be of service
Can a connector be screwed on to use with Yamaha outboard?

@@CasaDeLaRaza been there done that too. 🤬🤬🤬🤬
@@electromech7335 it sucks I was on my way to a wedding. Had to shower 🧼 so I didn’t smell like gasoline
Hi ,can you add a fuel pump to the square tank as backup fuel tank?
That’s my plan. To have a small pump to pump gas out of the tank into my generator. I will make of video on that later.
@@CasaDeLaRaza looking forward to video of you adding the pump.

What kind of fitting does the 12 gallon tank have?
I'm not exactly sure to tell you the truth. It's large plastic cap that has vents in it.
