I think it’s because the darkness changed him to his regular design when he was corrupted. In one of the storyboards, mailman moe’s clothes get erased as he’s corrupted, turning him back to how he looked like in the intro

@@CW-PD-Official-RGF It makes sense because of Family Guy being really inconsistent. The Darkness seems to be taking advantage of this inconsistency to make the infected as unstable as possible (I think idk if I'm right).

His corrupted variant is another variant. Same vessel but different variant. Family Guy has become really unstable which is why this is happening.

Peter and Ernie seem to still be enemies and the modern artstyle is visible so I'm guessing seasons 8-9
The Darkness has actually warped the seasons in order to enter the show, explaining the corruption of Chris and Stewie in earlier music.
