Glad you like the board, Scott! We really tried to make the best board out there, without making it super expensive. And thank you for your feedback regarding the lights. We are extremely focused on rider safety, and we though making the lights interact with the brake at all times, would be a good safety feature, to keep visible riders at night. But you are right, we could have an option to have them fully turn off.
Been watching you for like 4 years now. Just wanted to say thanks for making the shopping process infinitely easier. These videos give us all we need to know so we can have 100% confidence in our purchases. Best e skate reviewer on the platform. Much love from the US
*Blackout + Silver/Chrome =* 🔥 ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Agree with you about the lights flashin and not havin an option to have them not flash on brakin. Interestin to get different motors on the different battery configs. Acedeck are continually updatin and expandin their range! 👌🏽👏🏼 Another great review mate!! 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Man Acedeck just makes amazing boards!!! I bought my Stella S3 about a year ago and she still gets out there and gives me around 18 miles of range when i cruise around 18mph! I Have my wedding coming up early next year but after that im saving up for this bad boy!!!!!
Super cool board, Ace Deck is the best out there imo. I completely agree on lights, they should not blink or be visible at all when lights are turned off. When on they should be steady on or at least have the option to turn off blinking. I would rather have no blinking than always blinking if we must choose.
Awesome review as always!!! I have the N1 and I don’t mind the blinking/braking lights. Maybe that’s because the N1 is so fast I’m busy trying not to die instead of looking down 😱. My only issue with the N1 is I wish the white light was an actual flashlight. I ride every night and the light doesn’t show more than 5 feet ahead. I would pay for the upgrade if they made one, the Nomad lighting integration looks so much cleaner aesthetically than shred lights, just lacking in functionality. If it was a functional headlight, then the blinking would drive me nuts at night.
Looks nice Scott! I think the flashing on breaking is a great option, but, mostly if if was adopted norm across pev's. So riders and drivers know this guys slowing.
Hi Scott, i agree with u regarding the lights. Front and side lights should always stay on. Brake light should have 2 intensities rather than blinking... Im not a big fan of blinking other than the times we group ride and want to be seen and attention.
I just placed an order for an N3. Been riding a Meepo Hurricane Bamboo for over a year as my daily commuter. Been having issues with it, like not charging, motor going out, and only has 500 miles on it. Decided it was time for a new board. This seems to fit the bill. Hope it can also do off-road, single track mountain bike trails like my Hurricane could. Will see and post back here.
I did. You can find my mini review under Acedeck's FB community page. There are things about this board that annoy me, but Ive done some mods to help a bit
I wonder if your speed wobbles are partially because of your stance. It looks like you spend the majority of your time with your front heel off the right side of the board and your rear toes off the left side of the board instead of squaring up and standing in the middle of the board. You're essentially riding the board crooked. It kind of looks like on those bridge shots when you hit small bumps, the board pushes up against your feet, your front foot is naturally causing it to want to pull to the right a tiny bit because of your heel hanging off the right side. Just a thought?
@@scottdaviesyoutube not at all dude... I looked down at my foot last night and noticed that sometimes mine was hanging off and sometimes it wasn't and my stability varied. Thought it was worth a mention or possibly something else altogether. I did notice though when my heel was hanging off a little bit when I hit a bump at 30 mph, my board always pulled to the heel side and recovered to the toe side. When I squared up and hit a bump, it would just go straight. Weird stuff that I guess it makes sense
The shoes, are they of the salmon color??? THE STICK OF TRUTH!!! Or as drew also calls it…the bi7{4 be good stick 😂😅 acedeck has done good with this board, another dart in the bullseye 🎯
N3 is nice stepped up from previous generation but.... I wish there was built in brake lights. I want to be more seen at night and having only front and underglow wouldn't be enough for me. Agree about the flashing lights when braking. Hope this gets sorted out for finalized version.
The functionality of the lights are a GREAT THING. They should be brighter and more numerous around the board. (Because if your lights aren’t attention grabbing obnoxiously obvious, you are doing it wrong and unsafe!!! Then you het run over) But they don’t replace PROPER headlights and taillights for other drivers on the road. These days, there are multiple good options fore those after the fact.
you're not wrong with the brake light issue. Not a fan any kind of built in lighting (except shredlights ) Id want them off full time. Id get in there and physically disconnect all light wires
Love the videos 🤙🏻. Do you have any advice on board storage safety. Hearing lots of horror stories with charging fires. Looking at the Tynee fireproof bag
8:21 i find most lighting options on these new boards to be rather gimmicky, although acedeck's implementation is fairly tasteful. would be nice to be able to change the appearance/color of the lights
Yea you are correct in that scene I had just stopped and was playing around with the bushings before I hit the 2.7km long bridge again, I quickly put it back to board side as it was a little wobbly lol
I love my B-one Titan, but I really want this board if only for the increased carviness and ability to make tighter turns. Question, which version would you buy with your own money, and why?
@@scottdaviesyoutube So which version of it would you buy with your own money? And I wonder what the weight difference is between the std model and the Elite? They don't say.
