I think many people are overreacting about the chemical process ,let me tell you the true ,every cloth you wear even in white colors is treated by chemical stuffs .The softer and more comfortable clothes you want ,the more chemical stuffs are put in .

It is true that almost all fabrics are treated with chemicals (either in the growing of the plant or in the manufacturing process, or even both). It's not true that all "soft" fibers/ clothing went through the most chemical processes (think silk, cashmere). "What is good" and "what is bad" is a difficult question to answer, I think it is more on a sliding scale. You need to take so many factors into account. If you can aim for things such as: organic (GOTS), closed loop, better dye, and ethically produced it is a step in the right direction. Very informative. What is the difference between bamboo lyocell and bamboo rayon/viscose in terms of how the fabric feels in clothes and not how it’s made? Are they both equally stretchy, soft and breathable? Thanks!
I was going to get those boody leggings to replace my polyester leggings. Even though it’s not bamboo lyocell do you suggest still getting them or getting ones that say lyocell ? I’m on a tight budget thanks
Hi! I have the bamboo leggings from Boody. They are super soft and comfy. I like them. If you want something that will last longer (Even though I am not a huge supporter of synthetics), I recommend buying the best quality synthetic leggings you can afford. If you wash them on low and never put them in the dryer, they will last you longer than the Boody ones.
Thank you for clarifying . I just bought from "Cariloha", what I thought were Bamboo sheets only to see that they are actually Viscose. and 3 x the price of Pima Cotton luxury sheets. Question are the chemicals used in the process able to leach out when using?
Looking for information how to make bamboo fiber and then convert it to yarn. I just meant to say need full process of making Bamboo fiber (bamboo cotton) for commercial use. Willing to start small work shop
Hi Katie. You can google "fabric shop" to find fabric stores in your area. I haven't bought a lot of fabric online, because I like to see it and feel it before buying. In the fabric stores they also sell patterns that will come in handy if you are a beginner. Tag in in your first project, would love to see what you create!

I am not familiar with the brand, but I would go for the Prima cotton sheets if I were you.
