This was a sheer delight! It's wonderful to see these artists show their lighter side, all while maintaining their standards of technical perfection! Merry Christmas to All!
I was lucky enough to see you perform this at your performance in Nottingham last night. This rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas was the highlight of a really wonderful performance.
This was an absolute treat! You're my favourite choir, (found through Allegri's Miserere) and I'm happy to see some lighthearted fun during the Christmas season. I really enjoyed the perfomance! Cheers!
What a delight to listen to. What a wonderful energy. You could see that they were having fun while they sang and that is wonderful😄. Congratulations!!!🥰🥰
This was really brilliant, perfectly sung and yet a great fun. Thank you so much for sharing this masterpiece! As a choral singer, though, I'm wondering if Nigel knew about the animal sounds before or if this was a prank by the ensemble at the concert... Does anyone know...? Anyway, well done!!!
Tenebrae is known by flawless performances. Weird sounds are always fun! But you ladies look even more beautiful with those authentic smiles on your faces. Thank you.
Just after 2:34. It also looked like the pretty blonde on the left was laughing through some portions where she may have supposed to have been singing. It was a riot all around. Nigel looked like he was about to lose it a few times, too. They were all having fun, obviously. @@Lattamonsteri
@@MrJdsenior I think they couldn't help laughing because that one singer made funny noises at times. I don't know what the sound just before 2:34 was (kinda sounded like a horse to my ear), but yes, some singers probably missed some notes because of the laughter :D
"Wow" what is this? Turbo crazed version. A bit of rum-tea would have done you a favour. More seriously: Come on. This song cries out for accelerando and just more! But if you give it monotone fast speed straight from the start then... so ultra modernistic.

When the partridge croaked I nearly choked on my breakfast!! 🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely brilliant ! 👏 👌

Lovely to see the arrangements of the late Ian Humphris still being sung. He was my teacher and a good friend.

Marvelous!🎄🎄🎄

Well done ❤
Wow, this is fantastic. Love the arrangement and the expert singing, and the "other sounds" that get pretty giddy at the end.

Poor Victoria Meteyard totally lost it for a while & had to stop singing! I doubt she was alone. Brilliant professionalism shown by everyone. 🤣🤣👏👏
2:33 who burped? LOL
Absolutely brilliant!!! Made me wet myself! Well done!
I almost feel sorry for that poor soprano at 2:20 who's just completely corpsing for the next 10 seconds, incredible work.

Fun. Did I actually see an error there, or was that intentional?
Depends I guess. At what point? xD

Oh wait, it was a pig noise xD I finally heard it through better headphones now.
It would be impossible to me to keep singing with that guy making animal noises. I would have a laugh attack
hahahahahaha
