Yeah I'm in the same boat as others regarding transferring one's progress from a regular to ultimate descendant. I invested 6 catalysts and an activator in regular Viessa since she was my main at launch. So, I'm waiting on upgrading my Ultimate Viessa until this new system kicks in. I would much rather do the progress transfer than to dismiss my regular Viessa for a measly 100,000 gold.
@@OrneryBiscuit Oh I've built them all except Yujin so far, I just haven't put any catalysts or accelerators in them except Hailey Enzo and Luna. Oh and Viessa of course. I think I put 1 catalyst in Sharen, but I don't mind writing that one off when Ultimate Sharen comes out.

Oh hey, hey hi! I love the huge improvements coming to the First Descendant, specially the customization options, the Pets, (I LOVE DOGS 🐶) the jiggle phisics. However I wont stop. We need a PHOTO MODE ASAP. A good one like Cyberpunk 2077 photo mode. And We need different dog breeds, I want Huskies (i know they aren't good for training, they dont pay attention, they're stubborn and dont listen to you) I want Giant Schnauzers, Border Collies and Chihuahuas. The reason is that I have dogs of all those breeds and I want to use them on TFD, not only german shepherds. Other breeds like Golden Retriever, San Bernardo, Yorkies, Doberman are welcome too. AND We need a CUSTOMIZABLE apartament for each one of our Descendants and our pets that reflects the interests / background of our Descendants for example Lunas apartament can have a drum set a keyboard etc, Gleys apartment can have her daughters stuff etc. We can purchase the furniture and decoration stuff from ETA-0. The apartament has to have a TV set (where we can sit, eat popcorn and watch the cinematics we've unlocked, and game trailers) an photo álbum (where we can see our "store photos" and also other players photo álbums and rate their photos, we can also "favorite" other players photos, we can run photo contests and earn prices, for rating and of course winning) and finally a Record Player (where we can listen to Lunas radio station, where shes the Dj and plays music, the devs can make a contest with the community to create this radio station, similar to what Cyberpunk 2077 did with Phantom Liberty radio station). Oh and also a have a "PC" to chat with your friends, find and join clubs or clans, upload builds, get the rewards, see hotfixes, updates, ANSWER SURVEYS, etc. I also want The First Descendant to team with McFarlane Toys so we can get TFD toys. Thats all I want.

@@dragonite9142 They really are, I like German Shepherds but never had one, but my dad gave a Husky to my sister when we were young, it was a tiny little thing when she got it, and everyone loved that puppy, he grew up and got really big, we loved going for a walk with him, people would sometimes say he looked like a wolf lol....But the bad thing is that he passed away a few years back from old age, and you can figure how everyone at home reacted, specially my sister He was light brown and white, really bright blue eyes, and they're incredibly intelligent, we never got any other dogs after that, but maybe some day Funny thing is that in Metal Gear Solid the phantom pain, I was abe to customize the wolf in the game just like the Husky we had, that was pretty cool
I believe the policy they were referring to was that, starting with S2 all common & ultimate skins will be available forever rather than "limited edition" also that they will be available as stand alone items rather than strictly bundles. The current items with expiration dates will follow their previous policy as legally they're bound by terms when released. Personally, I they could change this at any time, it's not like someone is going to sue them for their "limited" item being available for lowly newbs. I really love Viessa's hair in the academy outfit, I only really care for the hair 😅 but it's nice they're planning on releasing similar items to please players.
i'm pretty sure some ornery bastard probably would sue, on the basis that the item being limited time only is a part of its value proposition and might be part of the reason they spent money at all, plus throw in some false advertising and, yeah, TFD/Nexon could catch some heat for bringing them back.

i find the part of the reactor wierd, while changing the req wep might help, the current system already do that to some extent. What i find annoying in farming reactors is the when the perma was added, it basically needed you to farm 2x more since drops are now between the perma(stuff u prolly dont want) and the weekly ( the 1 your aiming) regardless of the wep req since we can now just put the wep we want. And the worst feeling is seeing 2gold of the stats you wanted on the perma reactor, which is very demoralizing.
I think they added the perma so you have an option to farm the reactor which isn't in the rotational. But the way they implemented had some issues yes. That's why they mentioned that they will be changing something regarding the rotational as it isn't efficient

The reactor change is just another thing on my "they dont know what they are doing"-list. Its really like they dont have a clear plan in their head on how the game is supposed to work... And they simply cant make some of the Battlepass content not available in the shop as well. I mean, we are talking here about basic head skins. I think they should be a reward for leveling up a Descendant to Level 40 or something like that, but if not, then they should at least be available for people to buy in the shop. Its ridiculous to make the characters basic heads/hairstyles time-limited, so nobody can ever get them again after the BP runs out. They already pissed people in the face with last Seasons Battle Supply Shop, where most of the needed Seasonal Challenges were literally not doable for 95% of the playerbase. And they never adjusted that or compensated people for their own delusional expectations.
Part of it I feel is because this is under the Nexon umbrella, but in the past they've made it really clear that they're really new at this, partly the live ops aspect, but also the looter-shooter aspect. Saying they don't know what they are doing is partially right, but I don't think it's out of incompetence. I'm not so sure about the simplicity aspect of the Valby skin. Look at the bunny one it sold well and is stunning the valby one seems simple too simple for an evolving skin.

If limited skins are "limited", can they remove them from the custom menu for people who dont have thoes skins. It annoying to get sutch a big selection only to find out most of them are unaccessable.
Why do they let the loot disappear? They should add a function that every time loots reach a certain amount, they will turn into a single package for the player to pick up, like Vampire Survival.
Its a lag preventitive measure but they definally went about it in the wrong way. Also they never fixed the issue where the loot collected ui on the right of the screen is infinate. So farming fast enough for long enough in a single area causes lag from that ui.
@@OrneryBiscuit In Vampire Survival, mobs drop a lot of Exp orbs, and when they reach a certain number, the game converts them to a red orb. If you have a way to reach the devs and mention this Vampire Survival work around, it would be nice.

I'm a valby main and I like Luna too but I wouldn't lie about this and this is the truth I hate the mini game as well as others who played as Luna and if that was an actual mini game for $70 I would have uninstalled the game and ask for a refund so fast That's how terrible the mini game and her kit is and when her stacks are full, she do this animation twirls around makes a heart . You have no idea how many times I got caught in the middle of that animation during Fighting the boss and enemies and they just melt her HP to nothing and you can't cancel the animation. The notes are too far apart from each other There are too many pauses between them. You get a roll of five. then it pauses then you get one. There are 20 enemies in front of Luna and she got one note . so you are telling me out of those 20 enemies Luna can only shoot one. doesn't make no sense The notes and the songs are off rhythm. They don't even match The cool down punishment hurts Luna and her teammates so bad When she's in mini game mode during an interception boss, the lock Target doesn't lock on to the part of the boss to break the part and that's a problem Honestly the devs should keep her dance moves and her personality and damage buff and recovery but the mini just rips it out and throws in the trash bin and clicks empty . Show no mercy to that mini game Luna's new ability should be speakers and she gets three of them. speaker buff to herself and allies MP speaker for recovery and her fourth ability is AOE speaker and it's the same speaker noise surge that she gets on and rides on it but instead she rides the speaker and she shoots as she on the speaker. However the speaker sent out sound waves that do damage to enemies exactly like noise surge when she's on her speaker and that amp up her gun to feed the meter once it's full it regen resources to her So she can buff herself and allies again. However, they want to do it. I recommend not keeping the mini game The results of keeping The mini game will be the same results as she's in now. 4% useless

first, for clarification im still in early game and just 20 hours so i dont know if they or have been implemented yet but for the love of god make some ultra rare (aka 1% drop rate, aka might as well doesn't drop at all) items have some gimmick like if you finish the mission faster you have another percentage as a bonus reward (separate from already 1%) second, make normal mission not the dungeon were you cant repeat without running back where its located,
@@OrneryBiscuit I don't mean to make the chances higher, I get it it's for hard core players but at least make something for someone who isn't hardcore, here's a great example I'm a monster hunter player and we also have 1% drop rate items but there is another way to get ultra rare and that's is cutting the monster tail and carving it with the 10-20%, so my point is if your character is almost perfect and could finish a mission in under a min then 1% mission rewards are better but if can't then the 10-20 min of 20% is slightly better.

There can be multiple ways to implement free cosmetics it can range from drop chances of 10% to 1% But integrating systems like that on TFD is going to be difficult because there haven't been any objectives implemented on dungeons or bosses yet. And not all Descendant are balanced so people who refuse to play Freyna or Bunny naturally are going to be at a disadvantage
They think its legally problematic? Unreal They just love to exploit fomo. These skins have to come back like any other game. And when was it clear that it was limited forever? So they are going to use players who got them as a reason to not return them? This will ruin the game. I do not like having skins others cannot get and I don't want to miss out on any I may eventually want to get.
NGL, making skin limited time just for it to never return instead of reselling them on later date, is in my opinion very asinine on their part. Just make it like Warframe deluxe bundle. Using FOMO tactic going to hurt the playerbase and the game in the long run.
If they introduce a trading system in the future, these skins will be sold at much higher prices by the community, which will generate more money for them. So I guess this is what they think about.

there's so many update notes coming each week this game is about to be insane!
My speculation is Devs are gathering data and getting those updates out before the actual big updates that's going to happen after S2

Why do they let the loot disappear? They should add a function that every time loots reach a certain amount, they will turn into a single package for the player to pick up, like Vampire Survival.

Its a lag preventitive measure but they definally went about it in the wrong way. Also they never fixed the issue where the loot collected ui on the right of the screen is infinate. So farming fast enough for long enough in a single area causes lag from that ui.
@@OrneryBiscuit In Vampire Survival, mobs drop a lot of Exp orbs, and when they reach a certain number, the game converts them to a red orb. If you have a way to reach the devs and mention this Vampire Survival work around, it would be nice.

I'm a valby main and I like Luna too but I wouldn't lie about this and this is the truth I hate the mini game as well as others who played as Luna and if that was an actual mini game for $70 I would have uninstalled the game and ask for a refund so fast That's how terrible the mini game and her kit is and when her stacks are full, she do this animation twirls around makes a heart .
You have no idea how many times I got caught in the middle of that animation during Fighting the boss and enemies and they just melt her HP to nothing and you can't cancel the animation.
The notes are too far apart from each other There are too many pauses between them. You get a roll of five. then it pauses then you get one. There are 20 enemies in front of Luna and she got one note .
so you are telling me out of those 20 enemies Luna can only shoot one.

When she's in mini game mode during an interception boss, the lock Target doesn't lock on to the part of the boss to break the part and that's a problem
Honestly the devs should keep her dance moves and her personality and damage buff and recovery but the mini just rips it out and throws in the trash bin and clicks empty . Show no mercy to that mini game
Luna's new ability should be speakers and she gets three of them. speaker buff to herself and allies MP speaker for recovery and her fourth ability is AOE speaker and it's the same speaker noise surge that she gets on and rides on it but instead she rides the speaker and she shoots as she on the speaker. However the speaker sent out sound waves that do damage to enemies exactly like noise surge when she's on her speaker and that amp up her gun to feed the meter once it's full it regen resources to her So she can buff herself and allies again.
However, they want to do it. I recommend not keeping the mini game

first, for clarification im still in early game and just 20 hours so i dont know if they or have been implemented yet but for the love of god make some ultra rare (aka 1% drop rate, aka might as well doesn't drop at all) items have some gimmick like if you finish the mission faster you have another percentage as a bonus reward (separate from already 1%)
second, make normal mission not the dungeon were you cant repeat without running back where its located,
I just like the 1% because it's something end-game players can do and aim to do. Of course it's going to be difficult for it to be valuable.
@@OrneryBiscuit I don't mean to make the chances higher, I get it it's for hard core players but at least make something for someone who isn't hardcore, here's a great example I'm a monster hunter player and we also have 1% drop rate items but there is another way to get ultra rare and that's is cutting the monster tail and carving it with the 10-20%, so my point is if your character is almost perfect and could finish a mission in under a min then 1% mission rewards are better but if can't then the 10-20 min of 20% is slightly better.

There can be multiple ways to implement free cosmetics it can range from drop chances of 10% to 1% But integrating systems like that on TFD is going to be difficult because there haven't been any objectives implemented on dungeons or bosses yet. And not all Descendant are balanced so people who refuse to play Freyna or Bunny naturally are going to be at a disadvantage

They think its legally problematic? Unreal They just love to exploit fomo. These skins have to come back like any other game. And when was it clear that it was limited forever? So they are going to use players who got them as a reason to not return them? This will ruin the game. I do not like having skins others cannot get and I don't want to miss out on any I may eventually want to get.
NGL, making skin limited time just for it to never return instead of reselling them on later date, is in my opinion very asinine on their part. Just make it like Warframe deluxe bundle. Using FOMO tactic going to hurt the playerbase and the game in the long run.
