When attacking you don’t always have to kill everyone on the enemy team to win. Time is against you but you can switch it around by planting (if possible). Now you have more of an advantage as an attacker. Same goes to defending, you don’t always have to kill everyone. Time is on your side, maybe in that 1v1, 2v1 with 10 seconds left you don’t have to get the kill. Waste time and force the attacker to plant. Either way they would loose or be a free kill.
Really underrated tip: know when to give up control of an area as a defender pushing back to a different peak after a kill or even abandoning cite as a defender if your pinned down in a crossfire, if your alive and your able to waste time a clutch is always possible
Bro honestly the world is all your mind fr, you believe you gonna be bad at the game you will be bad at every game you think that way, it takes time and practice and confidence and that’s all you need in life
I've got a tip to add. Stop peaking from the same height. Don't forget you can crouch and come in from a lower angle. Back out stand up and aim from a higher angle because they last saw you crouching and probably have their sight lower. Swap sides on the door while they reload. Rotates are very important. Don't stand in the same spot where they are expecting you from. Being random will help you become a really good player and less predictable.
As a champ, that's something I always do since they know my head level and prefire that, but if I'm crouch instead of standing when I re-peak, then I'll be able to take their head off. So yeah, good tip.
An addition to the sound tip: you can learn what footsteps sound like on different floors. Like footsteps on metal stairs and then when the metal sound stops you know they are off the stairs. Or on Oregon basement u can hear when players get into the building thru construction because their steps go from walking on dirt sound to walking on the tarp sound. This lets you know they are in the doorway and you can prefire them or peek while they’re exposed and can’t go back into cover
I will have to say using the angled grip on heavy weapons like DMRs LMGs instead of assault rifles actually helps out and is visibly noticeable, ESPECIALLY DMRs because you end up using the flash hider or whatever it’s called which reduces single shot firing and you can literally only do single shots.
He’s saying that on DMRs you should use angled grip because they have the muzzle brake, which makes the recoil negligible anyways as they can only shoot single fire as is.
You can do the hibana crouch hole with just four pallets too, if you aim the bottom corner of her laser pattern on the middle of the screws in the reinforcement. It's a bit glitchy so I wouldn't use it to push into a site, but for other walls it works good enough.
Tip for aiming. Try to focus on what you are trying to shoot instead of your reticle. May sound dumb, but I guarantee many people don’t even realize they’re doing this. Been back at siege for a while now after being out of it for maybe 4 years and last night I realized I haven’t been focusing enough on the enemy and that’s why my aim has been bad, and instantly improved drastically. If you are used to your sensitivity then your thumbs will almost automatically line up directly where you are focused. If you are looking at your reticle you will just watch it do circles around the enemies head most the time lmaoo.
A tip I use to cause chaos in Obj is to place your breaches down on random soft or hard walls and set them all off at the same time. When they all go off swing whatever corner as they will be confused and panicking what’s going on. I do this all the time if we can’t get in site and the timer is running low. I can usually get a kill or two from it
It takes the first 5 seconds when during prep phase to check outside cams to find where people are spawning or at least have an good idea of where they are spawning. Super helpful using trap ops to almost guarantee 1) Spawn peak kill or 2) get trap kills. Forces them to play more carefully and waste tons of time.
These tips were actually super helpful! I'm a new player and am trying to improve, so far just watching gameplay videos and working through these types of vids have been super useful to me. Though, I'm looking for more advice on audio queues and such! I understand the basics of how sound travels in the game, but I'm a half deaf player and have been looking for advice on how to work against my disadvantage with the directional audio! Would love any help with alternative solutions to assist with sounds and awareness. :)
The best alternative to sound on attack is drones, make sure you always save both of your drones, on defense maybe run someone like valk, or just always have bulletproof cams to watch whatever side you cant hear as well from
One tip that I've learned is to NEVER sprint in a clutch situation (1 v X) unless you REALLY know what you're doing. Other than that, keep calm and just take it slow (but don't waste time)
One subtle thing I noticed about myself was I was focusing more on the crosshair placement vs tracking the enemies head. It felt like essentially the same thing until I noticed my hand and crosshair would naturally follow my eyes anyway. Now instead of lasering that little dot on my screen, I'm just focusing on their head and letting muscle memory adjust for me more. I noticed way more consistency in my aiming. It's kinda like riding a motorcycle and doing u-turns and stuff like that. You have to turn your head to look at where you want to go, and your body naturally adjusts/leans to go where you're looking. Even in flick scenarios I noticed I got better at over and under-adjusting as much because my brain was already looking at their head (aka the thing I'm flicking to) and wasn't just staring at my cross hair and trying to stop when I finally saw their head through my crosshair. Almost as if I was unknowingly using my crosshair itself AS a scope, if that makes sense. Idk it makes sense to me lol
An interesting tip that works really well for me: When you are attacking or even defending sound ques are important to both sides but you can also make either side pin point a location with them I.E impacting a wall which could have enemies behind or using the last bit of utility on something useful like thermite blowing a reinforced wall to have the enemy peak it and you are on the flank already
I fumbled a 1v5 on Lair due to failing to control my adrenaline (which I'm working on). I was able to get it down to a 1v1 and plant the Defuser but I couldn't get an angle on the hallway and sadly lost. It was still fun though
1# tip always play time, don’t look for gun fights. The more you’re hidden and alive the more they panic and get stressed out. I give up site so much but stay close enough to hear them, makes them paranoid and most likely will be looking at different entrance if they have no clue. And they won’t stick a plant cause of how paranoid they get. Don’t constantly aim in and out especially if you’re flanking or roaming just that alone will get you spotted because of sound cues. The more quiet you’re the more chances you have of catching someone off guard.
I say another tip for lower lobby’s, if your in a 1v5 if you get a kill it works by backing up a whole angle they always expect you to be at the same place and if they don’t see you they usually get careless and try to catch up to you give a free kill, this probably will never work in higher elo tho
4:43 I can confirm this. I played as Valkyrie at upstairs bomb on Border and I held an entire breached wall against 2 attackers with tons of shooting. I was almost out of ammo at the end of the round. I also used slight paintball tactics like peaking from different angles/spots and overall being really fast with what I did.
ive got a tip for all my gold brothers out there. When it's a 1v2 or 3 on attack and you dont have diffuser, dont be timid and wait until there's 10 seconds left to find a gun fight. They're not gonna be agro and push your angle, and you won't kill them all in 10 seconds. if you wait to push. You have to be aggressive earlier, and either get diffuser or find 1v1 gun fights while you still have time/ breathing room to kill them all
As clash, when you get your shield knocked away, turn away so that the shield still covers you. One time on nighthaven labs I led a guy from second floor down to an entrance on the first floor long enough for my teammate to kill everyone else because I did this. This works for other shields too, but not as well because your legs are always exposed unless you crouch.
Another strat I found to be pretty successful lately is against Mira setups into garage on Bank basement: Stick to the close left wall as Ace or Hibana and blow out the foot level of the wall below the black mirror. Not only does it become impossible for Defenders to hold the window, but it also opens up a sightline all the way into Gold from money transport / garage pillar. With 2x and 3x sights as Attackers you immediately have a range advantage. Not to mention that the other Mira setup is likely in red corridor as well. You may only need an EMP to clear electros on the wall or a frag to clear the staircase bottom of anyone going for breach denial.
Staying calm is probably the best tip. I play so much better when calm than, let's say, excited. I feel like my ears become more sensitive to sound cues haha
Im a plat player and I don’t even use mic. I always use my game chat though. Text is still very usable and sometime in my own way more helpful that way people aren’t hollering our calls while trying to listen. I loved when they brought in the yellow ping system and have every player there assigned numbers it works so well.
I like how you mentioned rank 2.0, returning player from whenever operation health was. A friend told me to install the trn tracker to see the opponents ranks, copper -> gold my opponents were all emerald/diamond (same with teammates). Gained zero gage to how good players are at each rank unlike other games (like rocket league)
If you are a Clash main, like me, want to be a little toxic, or just want to play Clash for a game, it’s not always a free kill. When they come up to melee you, turn to your left. The way her shield gets knocked away allows you to cover most of your body if you turn your camera to the left. It’s a small thing, but it can save rounds. I’ve done it many times As the resident Monty main, ALWAYS stand in doorways post defuse. Make sure your teammates are covering your back or if it’s a 1v1, it’s as close to a free win as you can get. Don’t fall for fake defuses, if they’re on defuse, collapse your shield for a second, then right back to extended. They’ll have to get off defuse for that second and it wastes more time. If they don’t get off defuse, hit them with your shield, never go for the shot. Ideally you want to plant as close to the doorway as possible to make sure it works as intended. Sorry for the yap session, hope this helps someone. Good day to you all
I actually remembered the thermite radius trick in a ranked game when there was an electrified wall but realised there were no soft walls or barricades to put the charge on so i was a bit disappointed
Good tip, always bring claymores and place them on common runout spots, if you play big window ALWAYS PLACE CLAYMORES ON THE TWO WINDOWS. You don’t know how many people will die if you place them
A mute on CCTV wall is easy to counter, because it doesn't cover the entire wall, all you have to do is repel on CCTV wall, and place your Thermite charge, or throw Pellets/Ace charge higher on the wall.

I'm currently utilizing the following flash hinders on every weap (to reduce vertical recoil), ACOGs(depends on Operator's class, i.e. for Ash on R6C I'd prefer Reflex for aggressive play, etc...) & ofc vertical grips ONLY. I don't know if this is well known, but in bank in CCTV you can kaid trick both of the walls into server room by placing a claw right in on the S above the doorway

when i started randomly prefiring baricades and walls i got a tripple collat in my first match which looked like i was wallhacking since the round started and i just randomly sprayed a baricade and got a triple col. :)
My best tip is use the shooting range/in game tutorials (vs AI and map routes) settings are also very important default controller settings suck but a 3 or 4 dead zone with high sens can decrease recoil; Increasing FOV will also help with recoil. different gun sights will affect your recoil reflex sights mean less recoil but they can give you a bling spot (just like the red dot) Remember to always be kind to your teammates no teammate is gonna wanna 5v1 clutch if you are talking sh!t.
I play in asia, but don’t speak chinese. It is a very unique challenge playing muted. I turn off voice since I went from new player to plat without ever once having a real comm in any language I understand, its 100% chinese. I find it really funny to get commended despite literally trolling with no communication lol
the biggest tip i could give for new players is do not try to memorize all off this all at once, learn everything one by one then you'll remember everything like muscle memory
My highest rank was Emerald I, 1 game away from Diamond V. Stopped playing for a few seasons after that and now im back in Emerald V, but my KD is only getting lower, my timings in-game are the worst and I just don't know what to do.
What is a random tip you think more players should know?
Watch Athieno

standard sound cues
@@light-w5pThat's not standard, you'd be surprised how many games don't change the audio depending on what surface you're walking on.
@@justink8156 Maybe its just because I have a good understanding of sound cues, I've been playing since shifting tides afterall.

No way I'm in a lesion video lmao
Thanks pal
great job for actually making so many tips damn
when i started randomly prefiring baricades and walls i got a tripple collat in my first match which looked like i was wallhacking since the round started and i just randomly sprayed a baricade and got a triple col. :)
Thanks for the vid 😊❤
Im slowly learning call outs for different maps but my friend is too lazy to do so ☹️
tryna party up ?
Thanks Lesion♥
3:57 how did u get the thermal antipode early
Any aiming tips for new players ?
BRO I THOUGHT I WAS TRIPPING OUT ABOUT RUNNING FASTER WITH UR PISTOL OUT! finally! I WAS RIGHT
My best tip is use the shooting range/in game tutorials (vs AI and map routes) settings are also very important default controller settings suck but a 3 or 4 dead zone with high sens can decrease recoil; Increasing FOV will also help with recoil.
different gun sights will affect your recoil reflex sights mean less recoil but they can give you a bling spot (just like the red dot)
Remember to always be kind to your teammates no teammate is gonna wanna 5v1 clutch if you are talking sh!t.
I’ll be honest athieno I was on the toilet when I watched this
I play in asia, but don’t speak chinese. It is a very unique challenge playing muted. I turn off voice since I went from new player to plat without ever once having a real comm in any language I understand, its 100% chinese. I find it really funny to get commended despite literally trolling with no communication lol
Why does bro sound like Bob from bobs burgers lmfao, Ik I ain’t trippin
I edged to this video
Did you finish?
@@Maxxing-_- still edging in fact
For three months!!!
i jelqed to it my sigma
It's not instagram
i needed this
the biggest tip i could give for new players is do not try to memorize all off this all at once, learn everything one by one then you'll remember everything like muscle memory
At 11:42 he is talking about Paul blart mall cop where the bad guys take over the mall and he gets them one by one using different strategys
athieno we dont use gamechat because most of the time the chat is filled w sweaty toxic 12y screaming at the top of their lungs
21:02 “I can just impact this” 😂
I'm champion, but tbh I learnt a lot of new tips from this vid, thank you Lesion! 💫
I have something to ask: If you play other fps games like r6 vegas would that improve your aim on siege (potentially?)
My highest rank was Emerald I, 1 game away from Diamond V. Stopped playing for a few seasons after that and now im back in Emerald V, but my KD is only getting lower, my timings in-game are the worst and I just don't know what to do.
That first one would work except the randoms I get given go straight to the first room even when we get absolutely wrecked in it the first match
Let’s go 400k subs
a lion tip i use is i either flashbang or frag the room then lion scan so they are forced to move
Atheno
this is so much easier and more fun on pc than ps or box
Actually so helpful
