- We found a hidden gem in the port in Costa Maya with the most amazing authentic Mexican tacos! It is called Don Lolo and is in the very back of the port almost before you leave for the shuttles and taxis. SO GOOD!!! We found this spot on our last trip and had to take the boys to try the tacos as well. We were not hungry as we had eaten lunch at Tropicante… but how often to you get tacos this good!!! And it was priceless when Cameron took his first bite and you could watch the pure bliss of delicious food wash over him! Appetite satisfied, we wandered around the port to do a little shopping… and boy did the boys enjoy that!

It was nice to meet you guys and shake Jason’s hand at the taco shop. The tacos were epics. We are even in the background of this video while he explains how he makes his tocos. This is the second video we video bombed.

The water in Costa Maya is so aqua blue, we loved that port!
Im going there in Jan. Can't wait. Deciding on a beach club...tropicante or pez Quadro both have great reviews? So much more reasonable to taxi, eat & beach for free... Well with $66. Beautiful family time too...I will subscribe. Definitely going to Don lolo

I have tried Tropicante and Crazy Lobster and a few other places but overall I am not a fan of Costa Maya and probably won't get off the ship if I go there again. I love Cozumel and spend most of the day in port. Love your videos.
Nice video! I bought a spoon rest when we did the Mexican Rivera to use. Well I did not take a really good look at it. It's more for decoration. Mine was not glazed so it got stained the first time I used it :(. Looks like I'll have to find another one :) Thanks for sharing..

Where is the best beach there and is it good for snorkeling
We went to Mahahual Beach and although it wasn’t that great for snorkeling it was still very nice! You may have some seaweed to deal with.

Jason.....buy a can of pickles jalapenos in the mex food section. Stem them and blend in a blender or vita-mix with the juice...you WILL NEVER go back. Guaranteed.

So Don Lo Lo is right there in the shopping area when you get off the ship? When we went to the Costa Maya Port they were still building it. My husband will have to get a VW Bus

Happy Wedding and Honeymoon Alex!! Cruising is so much fun. Just be ready to roll since things can change and they will due to weather, missed ports etc.... just remember to sit back and take it all in.

Where can you get passport stamps at port?
Every port is different. In Costa Maya they had a guy with the stamp on the way back to the ship at the security checkpoint.

Do you need a passport to get off the ship and why did you have them stamped? Going on a 7 day cruise that stops in Costa Maya too. So want to have all the info. Thanks in advance!
No you don’t! Just need your sail and sign card! However if you do have a password it is always a good idea to bring them with you just in case!!! Also you can get them stamped if you bring them with you which is fun!!
