Great tip! It solved my problem. Left turn signal was not working, it was just ticking, but right was working fine. Found this video today, tried it and it helped, my left blinker is working again. Thank you a lot!!!

Cleaning the turn signal switch with an electrical contact cleaner spray has fixed the problem for me, too, on a 2007 Skoda Superb. At first I have blown some compressed air onto the switch which seemed to make the random clicking somewhat less frequent, but it disappeared completely only after cleaning it with contact cleaner. Thank you!

I will add a success story as well! 2001 Audi S4, frequent intermittent clicking (turn signal) sounds. It scared the heck out of me to try this, but after 3 blasts (I was chicken and only sprayed a little bit the first time), it continued to get better and better. All the clicking is now gone. It seemed to almost take a few days/tries to fully clear up... and one day I just noticed it wasn't happening anymore! Thank you!

remember to disconnect the negative side of your battery before attempting. you can also use Mass Air Flor cleaner if you can't find Contact cleaner as it dries just as fast. 😊

Tried this today with my boyfriends VW Polo.. now resulted in contacting several mechanics / garages / auto electricians as the back of the steering wheel is now puffing smoke everywhere.
Supposed to be driving from West Yorkshire to Plymouth today... be careful before you try this. Might work for some but clearly not everyone.. wish it worked.

First of all thank you for taking your time to make a video to help others , so thumbs up bro, Second thing I would like to say no one could ever call you a stingy fecker , not when it comes to using products, if you ask me you went way over the amount required to do that job may be even 4 fold, I especially liked the compressed air side of things was very smart , third and final point , you mentioned to leave for an hour to dry up, that's the only issue I have, that's not necessarily something you need to do at all when it comes to contact cleaners or sprays they are designed to evaporate at an excelerated rate split seconds to seconds in fact ..just a heads up for ya , an hour is extreme over kill ...30 seconds is even way too much as it would be bone dry with no visual evidence that it was ever there or been used at all ....again kudos to you sir for your video helping others , happy Xmas 21 and a prosperous 22 to come sir.

Hi, thanks for the vid! I was wondering if you could help with another issue? I’ve searched online for a Haynes manual but can’t find one anywhere. I need to replace the air temp. sensor in the air intake but can’t locate it. In fact initially I took the air mass flow off by mistake (I’m not a car guy). Any chance you could try & describe it’s location for me so I can get it sorted. Thanks in advance!

the spray solved the problem temporary, the problem didn't go away, but the ticking noise minimized by approximately 80%. I am going to test more spray tomorrow, and see if the problem gets removed totally. Thank you for your video!
