These videos are fantastic. You can see what's going on really clearly and the explanation gives you a proper feel for the way things play. There are only a handful of games available to play in my entire country so it's nice to see what I'm missing.

This is just so weird! In the trailer of this clip there is a newspaper in swedish. It gave me the idea to check PAPA in Sweden and when i did a little research on the web it turns out that there is a pinball society in my town - just around the corner! I have lived here for almost 12 years and i didnt know that. I called the number and they are playing tonight! And Im invited. Im so happy that I choose to stay home and watch some CGR-clips on youtube instead of doing what ever I should have.

Taxi needs strong flippers so you can have the table steep but still make it up the ramps. I've played a few where it was set quite slow and shallow and the flippers still struggle to make it up the ramps so I guess new flipper solenoids are the answer. This PAPA table plays the way the game should IMO.

The carry passengers target lights up when you hit all 3 of either the Marilyn/Lola or Pinbot drop targets.

On pinball arcade i go mostly for the 2 ramps to lit the special "1 000 000", i will play more safely and lock/multiball to cash on passengers and their jackpot

Taxi is one of the hardest pinball games I have ever played. I really never liked it because of how incredibly frustrating it was to play and win, and that last ball of the tutorial just shows the problem, it's way too easy to drain if you miss a shot or get unlucky with the ball return down.

Carry Passengers target goes live (for the duration it's set to in the menu) when you drop the 3 Lola/Marilyn OR Pinbot targets

As far as I know, there is no setting for the "live time" of carry passengers. Maybe it depends on the Lola / Pinbot drop target settings.

I used to play the ramps on this game forever. You could just get into a zone on them. I don't understand how their defined as dangerous shots. They didn't seem any worse than safe play.

The actual table for this game must be a lot harder than the pinball arcade version. My highscore is about 9.8 mil while the high score for this actual table was just a bit over 7 mil. Ball just generally seems faster with the actual table for taxi.

please please do more tables that are on the PINBALL ARCADE. i have played pinball machines but could never afford 1. so virtual pinball is all i pretty much have since arcades are even a rarity now =*(
i think the games you pick, are your own, but if you do KNOW of two tables you're thinking of, and one is pinball arcade, please choose that 1. i have learned taxi and fish tales from you, also no good gofers. thank you so much mr. bowen, you are fucking incredible.

I've played this table IRL in a bunch of places, and most of them are as slow as Pinball Arcade's version, to a fault because those that are generally have a hard time getting up the ramps.

Did you point out that pressing the flippers buttons changes the C A B letters at the top, so when you ball rolls down into the C A B area you can control which letter is lit?
