Mediterranean Enduro - Javorna Trail RAW (MTB Lošinj)

- The Javorna Trail is pure Enduro pleasure on the island of Lošinj. I had so much fun riding it on the first day on Lošinj that I went back up the hill the next day again and tried it again, but this time at a faster pace.
The trail starts near the highest point of the paved uphill road and leads all the way down to the bay of Javorna. On roughly 2,5 kilometers it covers a vertical drop of roughly 200 meters. And very typical for trails on Lošinj it feels like you are holding a jackhammer because the rocks keep rattling your handlebars relentlessly.

On this video terrain looks super smooth, but last 300m are actually super technical! It's cool to see skilled riders in those trail, just "few meters" from our home 😎
It always looks way smoother on the GoPro 😉 But I agree, the trail is relentlessly pounding your bike and arms ... but som much fun to ride! You have a little Mountainbike paradise just next door 👍🤙
In this moment I'm riding hard tail, way to far for trail like sv. Ivan-Javorna 😅

Yes it's quite unique that almost every trail ends up directly at the sea. I still have to try a few more trails. Next time I need to bring a bit more time for my rides, there are more remote parts of that island that I need to explore.
Ging mir beim Schneiden auch so. Der Winter ist ja im Moment auch eher zum Vergessen, insofern sehne ich mich auch schon wieder nach dem Sommer!
Das nenn ich einmal einen losen Untergrund Christian🤩, echt toll dieser Trail, ein paar Gegenanstiege haben dich nicht davon abgebracht den Trail in einem schönen Tempo hinunter zu brettern🤘. Danke Christoph! Ich hatte ja insgeheim etwas auf den Strava KOM geschielt, der war dann aber doch außer Reichweite. Außerdem hab ich danach gesehen, dass ich bei den Häusern einen falschen Abzweig genommen hab. Das hat mir nochmal einen kleinen Gegenanstieg auf den Stufen eingebracht.
