Not being rude or any thing but if it didn’t take them 45 minutes then it would’ve gave that snowboarder a little bit more of a chance to live don’t you think?

I think it was pretty clear that the victim most likely would have suffered fatal injuries from head trauma based on the terrain and path of the avalanche. That terrain around Jensen Canyon in the JH backcountry is nasty and super dangerous

10:43 "It's a pretty popular place to ski, rather steep and known for avalanche activity". So the snowboarder took a risk, alone, and lost the bet. No reason to risk other people's lives. The fact that it is a popular place to ski even though it is known for avalanche activity shows that there are many people in that area who will risk their lives for a bit of sport. Let them do that but don't go too far in trying to rescue them. Just bring out the body when the snow melts in the spring.

I wouldn’t trust them to rescue me either...this was a complete disgrace as a “rescue”...mont blanc angels just go in but no we Americans worry about ourselves first

Bad search. That board was visible right from the start. Sorry.
