It perfectly portrays the story which the song is trying to portray, both IRL and especially within HOI4, that of an epic struggle against tyrants and invaders. Truly one of if not the best songs Paradox has put within their games. Thank you for uploading this to TH-cam.

Possibly the most inspiring anti-fascist song. A song decrying the tyrannical present, dreaming of a better, freer tomorrow. A song that mourns the sacrifices needed to make that tomorrow, but celebrates the freedom it will bring. A song made all the more profound by the actions of those it represents. Paradox really nailed it here as well. Though it took a while to grow on me, the way it builds is itself telling the story of the Italian partisans. Now, this is my preferred rendition on TH-cam.

When this song was propagandized and made famous in the cold war, the socialists erased the tradition of this being usually a song sung by women and they always had hypermasculine neo-stalinist style singers. It's ironic. The people supposedly against inequality and for gender equality erased the female origin of this protest song while pushing red fascist hypermasculine ideas. Paradox having this song with both male and female vocals together brings back the uniting force that this song represented for all workers of all ideologies against fascism, not just stalinist puppets.
