They recover his car, and it looks like a newer car , parked near the Hwy. They recover a rifle that he was shooting with on a ledge from, using their words, he was perched. ..? He purchased the rifle the day before , and decided to shoot real moving targets…?
He is ‘on the run’ , considered dangerous, of course. But he no longer has the rifle , cause the police said they have it. Strange but still a developing story.

No citizen owns a “AR15 style weapon of war”. AR15 military rifles are full auto, citizen-owned ones are not. They have the same rate of fire and are no more dangerous than most modern hunting rifles.

Here’s a cute little fact for you.
The US is third in the world for gun murders. Now, take Chicago, Atlanta, DC, New Orleans and Baltimore out of that equation, and the US drops to third from the bottom.
And it’s no coincidence that those five cities have three things in common.
      All democrat strongholds.
All have very strict gun laws.

Seriously!!!! You suspend a search right at a critical time just hours after it happened giving this dude plenty of time to evade? Bad move. Who called that? Unbelievable!! Why didn't you just post up some non moving teams at various locations in the woods in the dark listening for someone moving? Who knows where this guy can be by now. Even a 32 year old guy in not so great shape can cover a lot of ground in a short time. Especially with his motivation to flee. There are plenty of LEOs that would have shown up and helped so the "my guys need rest" only goes so far. WOW!
