Dome Houses were reclaimed by mother nature. And we believe that the never ending "beach renourishment" projects will stop that LOL
My hometown
In September 2022, the remains of the famed Cape Romano dome house were destroyed by Hurricane Ian, a category 4 storm that reached peak intensity while over the house’s location in southwest Florida.
The dome houses are completely gone now.
New to the area, but love to see the history around us. Might be time for a road trip to see for myself!
