He texted me saying that at first it seemed like the author didn't know what they were doing, but eventually won him over and asked me if there were any sequels he could read. I told him I had some good news, he started on book 5 😂
Very glad to see Assassin's Apprentice there because Robin Hobb's works might be my favorite (once I finish them : )... ever.) I'm also going to get Dungeon Crawler Carl (at some point) because of your recommendation. Keep up the great videos!
Ok, the people who have these reviews for Dungeon Crawler Carl are just wrong. I'm female and I laughed my ass off plus the audiobook narration is one of the best I've ever listened to. There's also a lot of depth in this series, especially in the later ones
I also found myself saying “I mean you have a point there….but you’re still wrong” when I did this 😂 Though I gotta say I kinda agree with some of the Assassin’s Apprentice ones 🫣

Love Dungeon Crawler Carl. It really is pure escapism and I need it in-between all of the dark stuff I listen to 🙌🏼🤪

It's an older book, but if u like a fun one, I'd recommend "Ciaphas Cain - For the Emperor" by Sandy Mitchell. It plays in the Warhammer universe.
