I was pulling for him from day one. I was sooo happy he won. Congratulations, Carter! And Gwen kept believing in Carter. Good job, Gwen! However, there was sooo much talent this season!
Yah, definitely they are awesome talents, but to be a champion one artist has to have UNIQUENESS in many aspects, whether young or older! This is where Carter Rubin emerged as the Winner! He is Special and Unique!
Oh, not because of his young age he won, as one viewer suggested there is ageism, that made me laugh, not out loud though, haha, but Carter @ his young age (there is a difference in this statement) is Special and Unique, he is not simply a powerful belter, like the others!

I knew Carter would win because he has the UNIQUE voice, not simply a belter, but unique in many aspects and I do not need to elaborate, @ his young age, not because of his age! Carter is not only good, he is special, unique and you must have seen other finalists so happy for him to win! Gwen must have seen "a gold mine in Carter's talent and uniqueness, it is why she has been overwhelmed, overcome with emotions along the way, that someone on YT comments asked, " do Gwen have to thank Carter for picking her as his coach after every performance! Of course, that is not only being excited, but also grateful she found a Special and Unique Talent! A True Champion! I used to be complaining about race or age in singing competitions but in The Voice, I do not think they do, where I believe in AGT they rig the final results.
