I got an e46 320d and yes they're fairly reliable but not the most reliable german cars, absolutely not.

Ich hatte meinen damals (war zu dem Zeitpunkt 8/9 Jahre alt) regelmäßig auf 240 gebracht. Gleiche Strecke

Is it stock? I have the same car (320d 2004 Touring, Euro 4) and it is WAY slower than this. 0-100: ~10,5sec, Topspeed ~210km/h. I already changed all filters, the MAF and MAP sensor etc... :(
Mein 320d stock ist auch um einiges schneller... da stimmt bei dir immernoch was nicht.
don't know about touring i got the sedan but with the old injection-pump 136hp engine and it does 0-100 in 10.1 and top speed 210...

Is the e91 318d as fast as this?
This is just as fast as a 320d ed E90 163hp. The 318d 143hp is sluggish compared to this. 318d -30nm makes a big difference and the weight too.

Only if is sedan,touring impossible. And this 240 are real 225.

The power is ok for a straight road but for a road with hills isnt enough.
By the way when you drive on highway in 6th gear at 130kmh the car needs 5.1l/100km
at 100, not really, but at 130, you go straight to 200 (remapped)

I‘m A VAG Guy, but the 2.0tdi is the most rubbish engine ever. And it‘s slow. Every single 1.9tdi destroys the 2.0TDI
And those old BMW Diesel Engines where strong.

A4 b7 uglyst car, and shit Engines. 2.0tdi 170hp is a running cunstriction, and the 140hp you need to be careful that you don‘t fall asleep while „accelerating“.
1.9 TDI way better. 2.0 and 2.5 TDI are shit engines

Had a B6 passat 2.0pd 170hp with dsg, loved it. The pull was more than satisfying.
