Used to snort lines to this. Was in an especially bad time in my life. Lots of drugs and mentally I hated myself and who I was. It’s weird because looking back I miss that shit. You really fall in love with self destruction and depression.

Same here brother....why us though? Lost 3 last year april my best friend got shot at a bar in our hometown 13,000 people is all. Then my aunt committed suicide a day before my birthday. July 6 my other best friend hung himself the day his daughter was born.

It's a shame I found his music too late. There was a time in my life when his music could really help me through difficult times. At this point I can't listen to his music too much even though I really love his tunes. I'm a really sensitive person, it's just too heavy emotionally. But it's all good, im at a good, positive place in my life right now. I do struggle from time to time like a typical normal human beings but have grown immensely as a person. Yes, I say normal human being, since i'm dealing with manic depression. I won most battles with the compulsive behaviour side of me, various "addictions". I learned that, for me personally, it is better to not look at the past anymore and just focus on this moment, the NOW and the future, have a positive mindset and surround myself with the positive aspects of life, like good people art and nature. Even though I did found your music "too late" in a way, I still want to thank you, Gus... because you are a big inspiration for me and your music still brings warm comfort in times when im feeling low
I as well found it a little to late. If I would’ve heard all of this a few years ago I wouldn’t be in a even worse toxic relationship. His music helps me to push to get out of this crap I’m in.
