Did you notice that Tim is standing a boat? From comments I read on another reaction, the boat belongs to Chance but it's stored at Tim's brother-in-law's because Chance doesn't have room in his apartment. The comments said that they pulled the boat out & shot the video in the brother-in-law's backyard - with no explanation to the neighbors. LOL! I'd love to be one of their neighbors - imagine all the fun things you'd probably see. Enjoyed your reaction. (BTW, I think you'll really want to check out Austin's cover of "Ain't No Sunshine - and be sure to listen to his comments at the end.)
Austin and Tim were both channeling Captain Jack Sparrow: Austin with his personality and Tim with the costume! Yes! Adam Rupp is a beatboxing and sound effects master! Chance and Rob also did a great job with their lead vocals! Those bass notes from Tim were earth-shattering!! Loved your reaction so, so much!! It was a blast!!
I love that you got distracted by Rasputin! It's awesome to see someone enjoy tangents as much as I do. Also, I always order under the name "Rasputin" in crowded restaurants so I can hear them call out my name!
I think that's why I love Tim's bass. He sounds very full all the time, and he enunciates so clearly as well. He hits the same note as some others, and it just sounds deeper! Mindy

After hearing Home Free's "Sea Shanty Medley" I couldn't get the music out of my head, especially when driving and it has quickly become one of my favorites. Same holds true for their "Alvira" sung with the Oak Ridge boys. I listen to these 2 songs over and over and over, etc., etc., etc. and just can't sit still.

I simply love how excited you get over those bass notes. I have been a Patron of theirs since day #1 and one of the perks at a certain level is Learning Tracks. We get each of the individual tracks to listen to and download. Tim's track on this is unbelievable. I love when he emulates a bass guitar but when he sings words way down there in the basement it is truly something special.
Austin's musical theater background really came through on this one! Loved Tim's bass and Adam's beatboxing, especially the castanets! THey did a great job wrapping it up with clips from each song and taking it back to black and white.
Everything on sailing ships back in the day was done by hand and needed sometimes over a hundred men working together as one. Sea shanties grew because is was a way to keep time and also to 'give heart' and distract from what was often backbreaking work. For example on warships such as HMS Victory it required up to 144 men to raise the anchors. Often a 'fiddler' would sit atop the capstan to play a shanty for the men to work along to!
This was a great medley though I can't help wishing they'd do full versions of some of them. Adam doing the beatboxed castanets was awesome. I think sea shanties are great because basically anyone can sing them (though obviously not this well).
I’m excited/scared to watch this. Excited because I love watching Maggie’s reactions to acapella, scared because she has crazy eyes in the thumbnail lol 😂
“Santianna” is about GENERAL SANTA ANNA. He was General and Commander of the Mexican Army in both the Texas Revolution (1836-Texas was a Republic from 1836-1845, when it was annexed by the US) AND the Mexican-American War (1848). Santa Anna lost both those conflicts. In spite of his being on the losing side-which meant Mexico lost territory TWICE under his command-Santa Anna was hugely popular with the Mexican people. So much so that he served as Mexican President ELEVEN TIMES. This song actually implies that Santa Anna “gained” the day in 1848, against US General Zachary Taylor (who became US President later on)-but Santa Anna did NOT “gain” the day. That’s where the folklore comes in. Santa Anna was so revered, sailors revised that history-just a bit!

Austin’s flamboyant exaggerations are what we all love about him. But I want to point out Adam and his rendition of the wood castanets instrument sounds in the Santina portion. They sounded spot on.

The song, Santiana, is on an album recorded in 1963 by a folk trio called the Highwaymen. I was in high school at that time and they were a favorite group of mine. I know nothing about the funky rasputin thing you were talking about. But I do know the Highwaymen recorded this song before any of you were born. Love your energy. So much fun watching it with you. Love that you couldn't help singing along. That's the whole point of sea shanties. Do you know Stan Rogers at all? He died quite young, trying to save fellow passengers in a plane crash but he had the most amazing voice, and also does a version of Leave Her, Johnny.
there's a TH-cam video titled "22 times Tim Foust has gone into sub-woofer mode" where he hits f#1, and g# notes....also, "Adam Rupp drum solo" where other reaction say that he must have swallowed a drum kit.....
If you ever want to hear more of Adam's beat boxing, look up Adam Rupp Drum Solo on TH-cam. It's the first result, from like 5 years ago. It's absolutely nuts.
⚓️. Awesome reaction! That Bass! 🤭 Standing ovation for “Freak of Nature” Rupp’s percussion! 🔥 Shooketh! Castenets! Wow! Seeing Mama Skittle and Austin being extra in the same video is priceless. See you Saturday Mama Skittle! So happy to sponsor some reactions. ⚓️
8:15 Maggie: "How do you even create that sound?!" I suggest stage-whispering "TICKA-TICKA-TICK!" to get the general idea. Then do it faster and faster, until the tongue bounces back and forth by its own momentum: "TK-H-TK-H-TK!"
Your videos bring so much joy and I'm a time that has personal been differcult I know if I come here I'm a.going with you. Heard Austin give big props to the reactor community in Ain't No Sunshine? Awesome, heard your name! And wondered if you have heard Austin sing Bring Him Home from Les Mis with Home Free in a live show? Incredible. So broad his training and what he can do with his wonderful voice. And he is also hilarious!! Love Home Free so much! Thanks, take care.

When they started singing Santiana I had to start searching for a song as well. Cause I played a lot of Dublin Fair when I was younger. Listen to Dublin Fair - Jamboree and you will understand :)
Great HF sailing crew!! Loved Adams castanet sound!! He played trumpet in college! I wonder if he was doing triple tounging to help make castanet!? There are longer versions of these Shanties!! Fun trip into the high seas!!
Oh, now you have to see their cover of Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up!' If you think Austin was 'extra' in this video... he dials it up to 21 in that one, it's hilarious. They're all hilarious, actually - they pay homage to all the styles and dances in the original video (with Tim also throwing in some iconic 'eighties shapes - he is quite the mover!)

Another wonderfully fun reaction with a couple of rounds of whats that note🎵😆. Also with a dash of wants that song reminds of rabbit hole. That makes each reaction unique and brings us so much joy. Which we all love💖 and look forward too.⚓
This was so much fun, loved it. I always enjoy your reactions. Having a blast at midnight, even though my feet and legs are cramping so bad. I have listened to this song fifty times already
Chance and Tim double for each other on bass sometimes they are both singing the bass at the same time when that happens you get bass that sounds more present and fuller.
Loved getting to see this properly - time zones are such a pain. Somebody said the castanets sounded like something you'd do on a trumpet, which makes sense if you remember that Adam Rupp's degree is in trumpet performance. Looking forward to more from you on Saturday...
Extra Maggie is best Maggie! I love how into this you were XD And, you know what, I'm right there with you on this one. I'm not much of a Home Fry, but this one really blew me away! I never connected Santiana with Rasputin, though I've been on a bit of a kick for both of them lately XD I'd actually come across a really funny video of two people playing beat saber to Rasputin. It's honestly pretty adorable to see their avatars dancing along to it XD Anyway, I have to pitch in for Jonathan Young's Sound of Silence as I always do. I really want to see what you think of it, given the other covers of that song you've done. He really is my ⚓️ musically a lot of the time ;) Always reliably fun! Ahoy!! Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁💖⚓️Can't wait to see you Saturday!
there's a TH-cam video titled "22 times Tim Foust has gone into sub-woofer mode" where he hits f#1, and g# notes....also, "Adam Rupp drum solo" where other reaction say that he must have swallowed a drum kit.....
YAY!! Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁💖⚓️Can't wait to see you Saturday!
Waiting for Home Free !!!!
Hope you will join us in less than 1 hour for PTX LIVE Reaction on my channel?
@@maggiereneemusic Really love your reactions, I will be here for Austin and Home Free !!!! Maybe not quite a fan of PTX.
Can’t beat these guys! They are always on point! Enjoy your reactions so much!
8:15 Maggie: "How do you even create that sound?!"
I suggest stage-whispering "TICKA-TICKA-TICK!" to get the general idea. Then do it faster and faster, until the tongue bounces back and forth by its own momentum: "TK-H-TK-H-TK!"
Your videos bring so much joy and I'm a time that has personal been differcult I know if I come here I'm a.going with you.
I don't comment really often but I'd been waiting for this one it truly made my day. Thanks hun, I see music with synthesia so your channel is just so nice of a place to be for me. Xx⚓
Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁💖⚓️ Hope to see you tomorrow?
To me, Austin's Fingers and Hand movements were meant to mimic Captain Jack Sparrow. And well done I might add. I loved this Post.
Thank you for your comment. Hope to see you tonight for more Austin?
ive sung all of these and more while drinking with my Marines while in the Corps.
Finally someone comments on Tims Lows on this song Ty Ty Ty!
Thank you for your comment. Hope to see you tonight for more Austin?
@@maggiereneemusic Great, I'll be watching. Just watched Austin's brand-new one from yesterday and now it's my new favorite of his!!! lol. How can they keep getting better and better each one? Let's Stay Together. Maybe that's what you're going to be doing tonight. Thanks for the great reactions. I know Austin sure appreciates all you do! So do I. Take care.
😍
No way. Don’t know if they actually have a video for it but Home Free cover of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” Adam went above and beyond with the sound effects. Wow.
Thank you for your comment. Did you like the new reaction video I just posted to Geoff? Also, hope to see you tomorrow on our live stream: www.twitch.tv/MaggieReneeMusic?
Again each one is at their own homes which is in different states. They have so much fun.
When they started singing Santiana I had to start searching for a song as well. Cause I played a lot of Dublin Fair when I was younger. Listen to Dublin Fair - Jamboree and you will understand :)
I can tell you how he did those castanets: VERY WELL! :)
Great HF sailing crew!! Loved Adams castanet sound!! He played trumpet in college! I wonder if he was doing triple tounging to help make castanet!? There are longer versions of these Shanties!! Fun trip into the high seas!!
Thank you for your comment. Hope to see you in about 1 hour for my LIVE with more Austin?
Loved watching your joy and delight.
Thank you for your lovely comment. Hope to see you on my LIVE tonight?
I'm glad someone else was like, "What is Austin doing? Other than a bad Captain Jack Sparrow." LOL.
Thank you for your comment! 😁 Hope you will be at my new PTX Premiere of a reaction video tomorrow? Set your reminder and ring the bell for notifications. See you in the chats!
Great reaction and so much fun. Home Free always brings it! And all the extraness! Yea!! Humming santiana now. ⚓️
LOL! Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁💖⚓️Can't wait to see you Saturday!
What a wonderful world! Maggie never disappoints and neither does Home Free! Loved your reaction as always! Someone in another comment mentioned a buccaneer. Do you know what a buccaneer is? A high price for corn! LOL As a former swabbie I just want to say, "ANCHORS aweigh!" See, I did watch until the end. Grin!
Thank you for your comment. Hope to see you later today for more Austin?
Okay, come on. I didn't want that to end!! I wanted more--lots more. Please give us more.
I have been listen to this ones a day since it came out at least.
Just found you! (via your Butts medly reaction) Luv your "extraness"😁. You got a new subscriber!

You are my little Disney. So sweet.
Thank you for your comment. Did you like the new Encanto reaction I just posted and hope to see you Friday for the Encanto Bruno Premiere?
LOL Ra Ra Rasputin there are SO many great videos of this. Russian dance troupes, Putin cartoons, it's just unreal how many things are done to it.
Thank you for your comment. Did you like the new Encanto reaction I just posted and hope to see you Friday for the Encanto Bruno Premiere?
Love this!
Thank you for your lovely comment. 😊 Hope to see you TONIGHT at my LIVE stream?
Late to the party, but if someone hasn't answered the question already, Tim's low note during "The Wellerman" is a B-Flat-1.
“Everyone: Acting normal!!
Austin: 🤗🤗🤗”
OH MY GOSH!! HAHAHAHA!!
Thank you for your comment. Hope to see you tonight for more Austin?
Maggie I love you so much you're such a beautiful amazing sweet person you're awesome and you always make me smile you have the best personality and you're so adorable stay safe 💙
ah the beautiful and talented Maggie!
Thank you for your lovely comment! 😀💖 Hope you can join my singing LIVE stream tomorrow here: th-cam.com/video/fqV8x8S4VDQ/w-d-xo.html
Another wonderfully fun reaction with a couple of rounds of whats that note🎵😆. Also with a dash of wants that song reminds of rabbit hole. That makes each reaction unique and brings us so much joy. Which we all love💖 and look forward too.⚓
LOL! Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁💖⚓️Can't wait to see you Saturday!
This was so much fun, loved it. I always enjoy your reactions. Having a blast at midnight, even though my feet and legs are cramping so bad. I have listened to this song fifty times already
Thank you for your comment. Hope to see you in 2 hours for my LIVE?
Great reax!!! Such a fun medley! ⚓
Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁💖⚓️Hope to see you Saturday?
Chance and Tim double for each other on bass sometimes they are both singing the bass at the same time when that happens you get bass that sounds more present and fuller.
Loved getting to see this properly - time zones are such a pain. Somebody said the castanets sounded like something you'd do on a trumpet, which makes sense if you remember that Adam Rupp's degree is in trumpet performance. Looking forward to more from you on Saturday...
Thank you for your comment. Hope to see you in 2 hours for my LIVE?
Extra Maggie is best Maggie! I love how into this you were XD And, you know what, I'm right there with you on this one. I'm not much of a Home Fry, but this one really blew me away! I never connected Santiana with Rasputin, though I've been on a bit of a kick for both of them lately XD I'd actually come across a really funny video of two people playing beat saber to Rasputin. It's honestly pretty adorable to see their avatars dancing along to it XD
Anyway, I have to pitch in for Jonathan Young's Sound of Silence as I always do. I really want to see what you think of it, given the other covers of that song you've done. He really is my ⚓️ musically a lot of the time ;) Always reliably fun! And if you like bass, like I know you do, he's going to blow you away!
Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁💖⚓️ Hope to see you tomorrow?
Just (tonight) realized how much lower Rob's voice is here, and I love it.
Thank you for your comment. Hope to see you on my LIVE tonight?
👏👏 Tim in a row boat! ⚓️⚓️
Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁💖⚓️Hope to see you Saturday?
This one cracked me up. Loved your reaction as always.
Thank you!! 😁 Hope to see you Saturday?
Of all that is amazing in this one, Adam doing castanets was my favorite part. Great reaction.
