    I'm a detailer and use a Festool Ct26. It has lots of suction and is fairly quiet. I don't have it, but there is a bluetooth remote option where you can attach a remote to the hose end.

    These reels are great quality. Reel is typical commercial build quality for Coxreels and the hose is great quality as well. I have used mine for a while now and it definitely will improve your user experience.

    I have a festool midi.. it’s amazing, the hose itself is worth the price.. buying the hose by itself is like $300.. it’s made out of cloth and has a swiveling piece at the end so the hose never gets all bundled up, plus it has a Bluetooth button at the end of the hose that turns the vacuum on and off so you don’t have to walk back and forth.. it’s pricey but badass.. you’ll want it just for the hose itself

    You could use a rubber fernco coupler or adapter to hook the vacuum to the reel. Comes varies sizes, with clamps, and commonly sold.

    I've got this reel. I know you're not interested but I use it with my vaccumaid wall hung unit. No complaints about the reel. Through a short hose the vaccumaid has allot of suction but through a 50 footer, it's greatly reduced but I'm satisfied overall. I had to get adapters from vaccumaid to mate hoses to the reel. Some light sanding was needed to get the connections to fit into the coxreel.

    Fantastic Matt, looking forward to seeing what you come up with for Vacs. Moving the shop vac up from the basement is a PIA and smaller ones to keep in the garage lack the power of the big 16 gallon. Plus, extension cords that always come unplugged and risking dragging the vac into the car....the struggle is real. Love how you dismiss the haters, keep it up!

    Gosh dang it Matt I didn’t want a damn vacuum hose or reel. I didn’t want a Kranzle. I didn’t want a Cox reel, or care for a dang expensive pressure hose or wand or all this stuff you sale but in the last week I have purchased a 1322 total stop with hose a Cox reel and vacuum hose and reel for it several quick connects a couple OG mosmatic sprayers! Yes two idk why! Wands and more fitings and tubes and all kinds of stuff. I didn’t know existed a week ago. Hell I took my cars to the scratch wash once a month if that. I never cared for a clean car but there is something about you and your voice and humor that makes me want to buy this shit! I can’t wait to actually use it now. Thanks your a great salesman ps I also have some of the same personal issues jump jump look for perfection move from one project to another never satisfied! Sending my love from FISHERS IN

    That's prettymuch fancy pool vaccum hose so you should be able to find the adapters you need to hook up to your vaccum at your local pool supplies store. You might be able to squeeze a 60' hose on that reel by going with a 1.5" hose.

    • @ObsessedGarage
      @ObsessedGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This gets tricky if you aren't able to get your hands on both cabinets in person or know the story of Saber. Specifications are super useful in a vacuum, but not in real life. Saber is the product of a cabinet expert leaving his engineering gig at Baldhead cabinets and drawing up what he thought an affordable cabinet could be. He got on a plane to China and had them made to his spec. Gauge means very little in the cabinet world. New Age is a market first, make cabinets second. Those products are always inferior to the make the cabinet first, then try and sell it. I'll have a video soon where I buy and compare in my garage. I'm going to buy New Age, Gladiator, Husky, etc. and show you what I'm talking about. I desperately wish we could have an awesome array of cabinets for $2500, but you can't. If you could, I would sell them. I'm just saying what is so.

    Shouldn’t your hose diameter be the same size or smaller than the inlet size of the vacuum? Aside from the obvious issues of being about to suck up things bigger than your vacuum can actually take in, there would be a suction loss going to a larger diameter hose.

      Buy a Miele canister vacuum
      Even though they are for the house their suction is out of this world!
      By the way be careful you might like Miele so much that you buy everything from them
