📝 Have you written a book? My life goal is to be a published author and make a living from writing and I am using this year to gain experience, build up a portfolio and work on a book with my agent. I have just finished the final draft of that book, as you can see in this video. I did self-publish a book about bullying when I was seventeen which is available on Amazon (amzn.to/3mdJKLm), but I'm slightly embarrassed by it now!

Somehow it really warms my heart to see that you've decided to learn Latin 🥰. I've studied Latin at school for six years and I know it can be challenging - most of my classmates dropped out of the class as soon as they could... I am kind of the odd one out at my school because I absolutely adore studying Latin 😅. So it makes me really happy to see that there are other people who feel similar and even decide to learn Latin in their free time and not just because they are forced to do so at school. So, yeah, I hope you carry on learning Latin, the grammar can be really tricky at times but it's definitely worth it because, at least for me, it's just so fascinating to be able to read and translate texts that have been written more than a thousand years ago ✨

Love your videos! I am trying to get a lot more into just slow living and staying in the moment this year. Also picked up gardening and sewing which is so great to stay more sustainable and environmental friendly. I also want to plant my own veggies this year, used to do it with my grandpa in my childhood and it was always a lot of work but fun 🥰

Ruby, check out no dig gardening, you might like it, especially since you don't have a big garden. The idea is to cover in autumn with organic material (hay, straw, leaves, compost...whatever you can get in sufficient quantities) and let nature do its thing. In the spring, there are much fewer weeds and the soil is much healthier and easier to work with.

I absolutely love that you’re listening to the Finding Nemo soundtrack! I feel like there are so many great soundtracks that get overlooked and that is definitely one of them.
I love this! Just a suggestion, with multiple wick candles it’s best to light all wicks each time so the candle burns uniformly and doesn’t tunnel down. Also you will get less smoking if you trim the frayed ends of the wicks before re lighting. Beautiful video and I really enjoy your day in the lifes! xx

No, this is not true
You're right, Ruby, it does feel like spring and now we've just passed the Spring Equinox (March 20th), and it's now officially Spring it will hopefully feel more so. I don't mind winter but the lighter evenings are very welcome and it's always exciting to see the first flowers come through giving splashes of colour in the garden. I think seeds are magical, all that beauty emerging from such a tiny little seed. New life is miraculous! Do you grow any flowers specifically to attract bees and butterflies in your garden?
Very nice to see Lola out having fun with your family and brilliant that you're considerate in cleaning up after her even though you're in the country. 👍I live on a mixed farm in Lincs , there's a public right of way through the parkland where people from the town walk their dogs and hardly any bother to clean up.

Lighting the candle - Hahahaha! I've never been able to properly use matches! I'm afraid I will burn myself and/or burn the house down. I can't even get a Bic cigarette lighter to work. First time trying one, since I do not smoke. I wore out my thumb until it was sore, trying to get it to work. Nothing. I finally gave up and got some of those Bic Extra Long ones.

Btw I find it sooo cool that you try to research about various topics every day! But can you really do it every day without a miss? I really wanna do this as well but I have a felling that I'll drop the habit after probably a week🥲😂
I probably do it 5 times a week! I try to do it every day but some days it just doesn’t end up happening (on the second day of this vlog, you’ll notice that it was one of the last things I did because I just kept on putting it off!). Learning is supposed to be fun and you don’t want it to become a chore, so don’t put unnecessary pressure on yourself, but try and incorporate it into a routine as a habit :) that will make it easier to stick to!
