Your difficulty is a huge factor, I did an experiment with this I made a new career and set it to ameatur and score 800 career goals (only took like 30 minutes because of the difficulty) And I only got 70 ovr I went back to my normal career. I'm 87 rated at 26 y/o with only 160 career goals

My Player is a striker and I chose Arsenal. Quality Premier League team with a bunch of players in the 70s, so I was able to get tons of playing time in my first season and boosted my stats very quickly. Started a second My Player (at defender) and chose Manchester City and got little to no play time. Had to go out on loan to an Argentinian club. So yes...you are 100% correct when telling folks to carefully select their club
in fifa 20 i picked aston villa and i got minimum play time. but the thing is now in fifa 21 i picked bayern in the start of the career and got play time 90 minutes all the time and still getting play time 😂

so basically start at low star club like 2 or 2 1/2 stars and build up. but how would international offers work. this is like my first fifa since fifa 17 so i don’t have much experience

if your a low rating they wont pick you even if you get lots of goals

Everybody doing review abt player career mode is a noob.
1: why play the whole team if u r doing player mode? 🤔
2: u r able to let ur team do what U want (noobs dont know how)
3: if u choose a big team, u need to get 9/10 in the pre tournament to gain playtime😪
4: need more scholing?
you play as the whole team to grow (optinal) the ai is shit so they dont do what you want and you get playtime in a big club but not enough.Need more scholing???

Just say u need schooling to know how to make the ai do what u want. I bet u dont know how to order them during the game 🤣🤣🤣
