Here's a deck that can win, without murlocs. It's super tricky and relatively cheap, I had to craft beardo but I pulled Uther from a pack so it was mostly-affordable. I will denote various strategies to be employed depending on hand combinations (I got prolly like 50 runs before I pulled it off 'cause the 4 horsemen ARE TRICKY to line up since you needa have planets align and spell out your name in synchrony while you piss your legacy into the snow--ladies, stand up), but moving on, you need the right combo of beardo, uther already played, around 20 health beginning on turn-8, and some cheap spells while also staving off the attacks of baron von-brownhole, which prioritize the horsemen--HE KNOWS. As far as starting hand, if you have cheap card draws, maybe keep them but always gun for Beardo/Uther if you can since they are most essential to winning. Uther is a non-negotiable, Beardo is not necessary but gives you SIGNIFICANTLY greater chances of success. The whole point is to get your 4 horsemen from the Uther hero power. You have to be so damm crafty 'cause Lich King has a hard-on for killing those chumps. This is a long read, but if you're like me and determined to win--I think you'll find my after-action report to be worth the time so you can attack, with accurate expectations and make the right plays at the right times. Read everything--I address all the pitfalls and trends of Lich King play with the pally in this deck. He plays differently depending on what you got in your deck (I tried others enough to see trends and differences in play). Before I outline strategy--a suggestion for those who like to experiment: Since lich king's primary offense is centered around his staple minions--his play is super predictable by now and you should be familiar with it, depending on where in the curve of the 9 plays you are with the Paladin right now. So if you'd like to try something, this is purely anecdotal (disclaimer), but I noticed a pattern in the logic for lich king towards the 1-cost Emerald Hive Queen. You can try getting it off early just to slow his minion pace once he controls it after the kill--he will even use his 3-cost insta-kill on her. You can use this to waste them before you lay down the heavy minions but one thing I wanted to try employing before beating it with the listed deck, was laying her down 1st thing on turn-8, AFTER A DOOMSAYER on turn-7, that way said doomsayer (now in brownhole's control) will suck her up when it procs as turn-8 goes to the bottom of the inning for his turn and now his minions cost 2 more--disrupting the synergy of his combinations. General strategy for board clears and when to hold board-clearing cards (or combos) for specific turns: you will want to play either doomsayer at the top of turn 7. Or reserve Wild Pyromancer (2-cost) & Equality (2-cost) combo to waste the trapped souls. Make sure you heal liberally up to this point, because after turn-7 it gets break neck. Only reserve heal spells if you are planning to use with Beardo to proc the set of Horsemen. I really try to avoid using Holy Light since it's cost and effect on play for a given turn is predictable where, depending on your hand--Forbidden Healing can cost any amount of crystals. So I tended to prefer playing those, if you lay down doomsayer's on turn 7, turn 8 is basically a bye-week so perfect time to play forbidden healing. Now for getting there, Blessing of Wisdom is amazing! Use it on his characters and never play minions except to draw cards or clear the board. I love to use Blessing of Wisdom on that 1-cost skeleton with the frozen-knight card deathrattle. You can eat up that damage all day, it's relatively inconsequential until he buffs it with the Anti-Magic spell (EFF THAT GUY AND THAT CARD). This is where you want to use your board clears liberally. Here's a specific board-clearing tactic I used with great command and control of the board. THE ESSENTIAL CARDS ARE EITHER OF: Redemption (2-cost) or Desperate Stand (2-cost). Get an explosive sheep on the board with these in play. Lay Desperate on him and then just wait 'til the minions pile up. If you can afford to keep the health of each minion within about 3-4--you're gonna be successful. Barring the anti-magic buff--you should be fine. It's a 4-cost card so pucker up that balloon-knot after turn 4 'cause it might be loaded and on-deck. So given the minions aren't buffed, use the enchanted sheep on one of the minions with 3-or-more health. The Deathrattle will tack on 2-additional damage--WEEEEEEEEEEE! NOVICE NOTE: Attack only if buffed with Desperate, if you only have redemption secret--let him be killed or your money's no good here. Once the deathrattle dust settles, if you buffed with desperate--He now controls a sheep with the same deathrattle (to resummon) BEAUTIFUL. Now any minion on the board, or spell, can hit it and proc another 2-dmg AoE. You can chain these with 1 set of (Redemption in-play, buffed with Desperate, and a single sheep). If you're lucky enough to draw a set for all 3--you should have clear blue skies all the way to turn 7. Pyromancer & Equality are last resort...in other words, when you don't gotta sheep on the board with the apt buffs. He has a minion with freeze battlecry he loves to play on buffed sheep, don't worry if you have Redemption or Desperate effects in-play. Sheep will do his job, honorably--and reliably. Another tactic, given your hand supports it, is using brewmaster on coldlight oracle, especially when Brownhole has a hand of 6-or-more cards, then his draws at the beginning of turn start to burn and you can see what he's missing to play accordingly. Another benefit of brewmaster is playing a horseman and then recalling it to your hand. That way you can play it for same cost as hero-power but your hero-power counter isn't charged for the play. If you draw naga, alarm-o-bot her if you can, especially if you have Uther or Ysera (the cards we want from Ysera are the spells that deal 5 dmg to all but Ysera) but otherwise, that's an early way to get the horsemen on deck and ready for the powerplay. You can, if lucky, do it without beardo as I have described other options that make this possible, tho less likely. Take it or leave it but it is possible. PAY ATTENTION AFTER TURN 7. Getting to turn 8 with Uther, Beardo, and at least 20 health is rare so make it count. I made so many misplays 'cause I was in zombie mode having played like 50 times. If you're doing a board clear once horsemen are in-play, try to brewmaster them to safety before doing so. Try to hold on to equality, redemption, blessing (if you had no other appropriate opportunities to play them), for use with beardo if you gott'em. Don't just waste them for the sake of using crystals. Once you get to turn 8, every play is critical. GO--BE FREE, BEAT THIS WITH A DECK THAT DOESN'T HAVE THE NERFED MURLOCS. Lich King & Ysera are non-essential and kinda just help with the spells they drop at end-of-turn but not critical to winning. They only give you more options--a luxury after it's all said and done, so if you don't got them--don't fret. Saraad (Nexus champ) is a good sub to get some spells that might be useful or something of the like. Nulevoe Krylo can try unstable ghoul
- AoEs with pyromancer
- Tentacle of N'Zoth
- and/or the taunted abomination cards

Thanks. Nvm, finally did it, I have to go Thaurissan into Doomsayer + Executus, then do the Exodia combo with Beardo.
Ran Chen nice
